The instant feeling you get when entering Mãe Divina is a happy home with lots of love, calmness and amazing homemade traditional food. And it is indeed what you got! What an amazing place, will 100% recommend and I really hope I get the opportunity to come back!

4 delicious courses for a fair price! - Edit
Since the menu is set, you can only choose how many courses you want and the size (small, medium, or large). I would definitely recommend having all 4 courses! It started with the soup of the day, warm and rich. Next came the salad. I didn't really want it but it was a part of the combo, so I ended up having it, and it was such a positive surprise! The veggies were really fresh, the sauce was amazing, and there were toasted seeds which added a great crunch to it. After that, of course the main dish wouldn't disappoint. It was a Greek-inspired dish, and I loved it! There were skewers, rice, fries, and another fresh salad. Everything was so well-seasoned, with so much flavor, I was impressed. And all the different elements came together nicely, too. To wrap up this amazing experience, a delicious mango dessert. If I lived here, I would want to come back every day to try different dishes, because I'm sure they're all tasty! I ordered the medium size and it was a lot of food, for not that much money. The soup and dessert only have one size, what changes is the salad and the main dish. Anyway, this place is a must visit if you're in the area!

They create amazing dishes every day. The menu is set to a main dish which they announce on Instagram the morning of or day before. Today is vegan fish. Yesterday was a dish from a state from Bahia. And last week a Mexican dish. All were amazing. There is a waiting room with a hammock and books. The owner and chef always checks on everyone and accommodates children if needed with meals. If I lived here I would go here every day (except when they close on Mondays).

Wonderfully varied and tasty vegan lunch. The place is beautiful and laid back and the staff are super friendly. If there's a queue for a table, don't worry, it moves fast and it's worth the wait! There's also a chill-out lounge to loll around in after lunch!
