Awesome authentic place!

Lovers of Indian food, this is the place to go in Varanasi! This temple of tastiness in the holy city serves typical Indian snack food/chaat. No awful bland tourist fare here!
As soon as you spy the restaurant on the main road, near the Golden Temple and labyrinth of narrow lanes, you discover that it is almost bursting with Indian costumers, which is always a good sign. In front of the restaurant, fried items such as samosas are made. You will be given a seat by the waiters (who speak almost no English btw, but if you don't speak Hindi you can always point on the menu). We had different thalis, bhatura chola, idli and malai kofta. Everything was hot, fresh and utterly delicious.
Vegans beware, as everything here is smothered in Ghee, but this is the case in almost all Indian restaurants... However, this place is definitely recommended!

Pros: Authentic, Tasty, Cheap

Cons: Difficult for vegans
