Very good brunch - Edit
We just had brunch at Madelina. It's a lovely place and the cups and plates are really nice hand made stuff. My dish is the Mediterranean Vegan breakfast, literally really good! The mushrooms and aubergines cooked just the right way, nothing is burnt, they have their own chickpea fritters an I think they make their own humus. Give it a try I would say, they also have vegan bagel as well. Nice friendly staff too!

Shocking food and rude staff - Edit
Do not go here!! Worst place on my entire Europe trip.
Read moreI went here because I saw it on this app and knew they would have vegan options for me but it was shocking.
When I got to Madelina their menu had V symbols and VE symbols but didn’t specify which were vegan and which were vegetarian so I asked the staff if one of the veggie baguettes was vegan and she said she didn’t know what vegan meant!! The other staff member overheard and said yes that’s vegan so i ordered it.
When the food arrived, I received a bagel (not a baguette) with a huge chunk of melted mozzarella all over it. I went up to the staff and kindly explained that they had given me the wrong item as I ordered a vegan baguette (not a bagel with cheese) and asked if they could make the item I ordered. The staff member didn’t even apologise and rudely said ‘omg so I have to make that all over again, can’t you just eat it?’ I said no so she sighed and agreed to make my food.
When the correct food finally arrived (about 15-20 mins later, they didn’t even make it quickly), it was pretty gross unfortunately. Baguette was not crunchy and was more like basic white bread. And it had so much hummus on it that I needed to scrape it off with a knife!
Disgusting to be treated so rudely by staff, if they advertise that they have vegan options then their staff should know what vegan means and be able to make a simple vegan baguette. They should at least be polite and apologise when making the wrong item.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rude staff, Gross food, No clear vegan labels

Friendly Local Cafe - Edit
A lovely little cafe with plenty of vegan options including baguettes/bagels, brunch plates, smoothies, and a range of daily baked goods. Highly recommend the banana bread, doughnuts and blondies!
Read moreThey do great coffee with a selection of dairy-free milks and they even offer vegan chai lattes.
The staff are lovely, plus the cafe is dog-friendly, LGBTQIA+-friendly, and (of course) vegan-friendly.
Pros: Delicious food, Always multiple vegan cakes/pastries on offer, Very friendly staff
Cons: Closes at 3pm
