Thumbs up! - Edit
Tried the spinach stew with peanuts and rice (sorry, I forgot what the exact name of the meal was) and it was delicious. Prices are more than fair and the portions are big. And everything is plant based! Highly recommend it :)

😍AMAZING fish and chips🤤 - Edit
The fish and chips was top notch and better than banana blossom versions I’ve tried in London. The Mac and cheese was OK but nothing special. The food was VERY reasonably priced and we were impressed by the free water on offer. Staff could’ve been friendlier

We Laffed it! - Edit
We had a burger menu, which comes with a bunch of fries, sauce and coleslaw. We also had one of the daily dishes. The patty of the burger was a bit dense, but the portions were large and delicious. Unfortunately a few of the dishes were sold out already, so come early if you want to have the maximum number of options.

Cons: Drinks are a bit pricey compared to the food

What an amazing place!!! ❤ - Edit
They offer delicious daily menus (2 options) and the afternoon ala carte menu is just worth to try. That fish and chips (unbelievable how the texture and taste reminds of fish so much)! Not talking about the raw pea soup... and the burgers!😄simply everything is amazing. And the cakes prepared by one of the cooks are made with love for sure😉

Good restaurant - Edit
Local near the center. They only offer two menu items after one hour. Good food, but the dish I ordered was a bit spicy (I guess it would be a typical dish). Very good price and delicious cakes. I would not mind repeating.

Sehr liebes Bistro mit leckerem Essen. Man bekommt typisch vegane Speisen wie Burger, Wraps.. auch eine Suppe (die super lecker schmeckt) haben sie im Angebot.

Best pea soup in the town - Edit
They have daily menu (soup plus dish), which is little bit cheaper and sometimes you got a chance to eat Slovak dishes (veganized). On weekends and in the afternoons they serve their à la carte dishes. My favourite is the pea soup:)

The fish and chips are incredible - Edit
The food is a bit hit and miss here. I didn't care too much for the Turkish wrap, but the fish and chips were extraordinary. The "fish" was made of celery, and I loved how innovative that is! Personally, I'm getting tired of all the seitan and soy meat replacements. Coming up with the idea of turning celery into fish is something I want to see more of!

Staff could be a little more friendly.
Pros: Creative meat replacement for "fish", Cozy atmosphere

local, well-balanced and delicious vegan meals - Edit
Made with laf is one of the oldest vegan restaurants in Bratislava trying to use as many local products as possible. The changing daily menu for only 6.90€ including soup and main dish is very balanced with lots of proteins, seeds and micronutritions. The raw green peas cream soup is a classic and part of the menu since the opening of the restaurant. Besides the pea soup I loved the red cabbage stew with marinated tofu and potatoes. The bulgur lentil salad with grapes, cauliflower and spicy curry dressing was nice too. Plus we had a delicious cauliflower soup with buckwheat. All together was very filling. Definitely check them out ☺️

Good - Edit
I did not like their vegan burgers. Maybe the problem was that we ordered them and not eat them fresh in restaurant. I ordered in restaurant raw peas soup and it was very good.

Cosy and comfortable - Edit
I visited 4/12/18 at lunchtime. When I arrived there were a few diners and it got increasingly busy with a lot of people buying takeouts. I shared a large table with a few others but didn't feel crammed in or that I was intruding. The staff spoke excellent English and I had a very tasty red lentil soup followed by roast potatoes with vegan salami and a beetroot and horseradish pickle. Soup and pickle excellent, spuds merely tasty. Very cosy and welcoming

very basic - Edit
We had seitan burgers and fries. Seitan was just a 3cm thick blob, very chewy. They also did not serve fish or chips or any other burger at that time (middle of the day).

Food made with laf😊 - Edit
Made in laf is all vegan place with everyday menu. They make very tasty and creative meals, also trying to offer many veganized traditional slovak meals. They have community table in there, it is great concept. Service is great and nice. You can choose some nice beverages and sweets as well. If you are in Bratislava, definitely go there and give them some laf😉

Lovely little bistro! - Edit
Unfortunately they only had about half of the items on the menu available but we still found something we liked! I had the Balog Burger which was delicious and my partner’s mac and cheese was pretty good too! We also tried two of their raw cakes which were really nice.
