Great daily menu - Edit

I wasn’t in the restaurant yet but we often order daily menu to work via ham.sk. The food is delicious and not boring - they always prepare something new so you can eat there/order every day. Their “brynzove halusky” are amazing.

Cons: Portions could be bigger (in case of delivery)

Disappointed a bit :( - Edit

Excelent vegan food and location I would say. When traveling great to grab a burger or something like that. Me and my GF ordered nevajickova pomazánka and fish and chips. The food looked amazing but it was too salty :( which made it not enjoyable at all. Half of it we did not finish because of too much salt. That was the only thing we could taste. Please, make it less salty and we will gladly come back. Be more friendly too, it makes better impression to customers, be there for them, not wait for them to come to you. Thank you.

very tasty dishes but it is hard to find a place to take s sit - Edit

we visited that place few times and made sure that it was hard to find a free table to sit when it is launch, course of crowds of visitors.
Make sure that you’re not hurry, because of , perhaps, you will have to wait you dinner longer than usual. Main-dishes and soups were always super, but when we got our coffee it was already cold. Generally it is a pleasant place, but at launch it seems like they don’t have enough staff.

Pros: tasty food, nice prices

Cons: at launch time you will have to wait.

Good place - Edit

With this place it's either great or very very mediocre. Pea soups is the best thing, fish and chips were wonderful (even tho the fries were soggy), desserts are great, burgers are good. The problem is that sometimes the food really disappointes with lack of flauvor or sometimes it tends to be a little too sour (lemon like). But I still return and try something new :)

Pros: delicious desserts, Pea Soup

Simple but efficient - Edit

We went at this place late in the afternoon. People there were very nice and even if we didn’t have a lot of choice, the food was really tasty.
The restaurant is comfortable but it might be a little more brighter !

Pros: Tasty food, Nice people

Cons: Not enough light

My favourite one - Edit

Pleasant interior, nice service, wide assortment, lunch menu ( soup and 2 dishes). And in the afternoon there is vegan fast food - the best Baskin burger, vegan Fish and chips, no-egg spread, wraps, tasty homemade fries, homemade dips, coffee, tea, wine, beer , soft drinks. Good music, great location. Long opening hours, even on Saturdays. Highly recommend.

Pros: taste, food, opening hours, atmosphere

Good food but not so many options - Edit

This place offers a different lunch menu every day but if you come in the evening the menu contains only a few items. It might be hard to get a table during lunch as the place is not very big. The food is excellent though!

Updated from previous review on 2017-02-25

Pros: Affordable, Delicious food, Cozy

Cons: Few options, Small place (crowded during lunch)

Daily menu - Edit

After a while finally I got to visit Made with laf. I ordered last plate of coconut curry with rice noodles and broccoli from daily menu. Curry taste was great! Love it. I would preffer it more creamy, more vegetables, but it was last portion so I got what was left and I was happyFilling big portion. Also garlic soup was amazing, like from mama :) Just some baked bread on the side will make it perfect. Coming back for sure :)

Pros: portion size

Cons: small place

Good, somewhat hip place - Edit

Made with Laf is located in a shopping street and has a fairly hip vibe (coffee table books like the monocle cook book are on the shelves). I had the lunch deal, consisting of a soup and a main dish. In my case I had a root vegetable soup, which was huge and pretty good, and a lentil casserole, which was fine, incredibly filling, and - because it was the last serving they had, and long after lunchtime -maybe a bit overbaked. Friendly staff, wifi, quiet atmosphere when I was there.

Pros: Good food, good location, friendly staff

friendly easy and cozy vegan cafe - Edit

The cozy cafe enjoys a simple design. A young, tall and serious barman is greeting me. The menu is international for every taste with an emphasis on falafel and hummus, wraps and salads. I am attracted to raw cakes. My choise is the cafe’s special – poppy seeds raw cake. It is so delicate and melts in the mouth.
And coffee …. We, Vienna citizens, are spoiled by the best coffee in the world which is the result of the right combination of high quality water, perfect roasting of beans and established for centuries brewing technology. I can confess that coffee in Made with Laf is great! PS I have the Bratislava vegan weekend guide in my blog.

Pros: great coffee, friendly place , raw cakes

Cons: not authentic slovak cuisine

Good tasty food! - Edit

Cute little vegan cafe/bistro with good quality food. Although the menu options are fairly 'standard' rather than creative...tofu burger, hummous, pita & falafel etc...it's great quality food at reasonable prices. The vegan cakes are yum. I did spot a herbal honey tea on the shelf - obviously honey's not vegan - so might be worth double checking for some menu items.

Pros: Tasty food, Reasonable prices, Home cooked chips

Cons: Honey tea on sale (not vegan)

Very tasty food! - Edit

All vegan food. We have tasted this food twice. Once we used delivery by www.ham.sk and once we ate in house. We have tried both burgers (one with tofu and one with, I think, lentil burger) - very delicious. I personaly have prefered the lentil burger. French fries from potatoes and from sweet potatoes (batatas) - these were a bit soggy, not crunchy. Kind of like, when you bake potatoes in owen, but tasted good anyway. Home made garlic dip was realy garlicky, but I loved it. Home made ketchup dip was also very tasty. Greek falafel wrap was delicious and falafel by it self was great also. Hummus was also good. Free water (with lime and mint) with food. Accepts cash and credit cards. Too bad, that when we have visited the restaurant, they were out of buns for the burgers, but it was nice to find out, that they bake their own. Opened on saturday.

Pros: nice place, feels cozy, food delicious, all vegan,

Cons: fries werea bit soggy

Unhelpful staff and few available options - Edit

As we arrived there, over two hours before the place closed, most of the food was already out. The staff struggled with English and was the opposite of helpful.

Pros: an okay food

Cons: unhelpful staff, most of the food unavailable

111/10 - Edit

this place has different types of seating so you can go alone, with a friend/partner or even with colleagues from work (which is what i did just now). good music, lovely atmosphere and INCREDIBLE vegan food. they have a selection of falafel based meals (burger, wraps, salad), some cakes and a daily menu thing with three different types of soup and a main course. i had spaghetti bolognese, which was to die for.
all of the colleagues who went with me are meat eaters, yet they frequently visit this place and enjoy it very much.
I'M IN LOVE.

Pros: FOOD, atmosphere, music

An oasis in Bratislava - Edit

Love this place, or should I say Laf this place. They told me the name is a pun on Love+Laugh.

I've just finished a very filling, tasty and healthy, all-you-can-eat buffet salad for only €3.50.

I think I might even come back again tomorrow.

Although, it's a shame they have honey and dairy milk. The cakes are all vegan.

Open 10.00 - 20.00 Mon-Fri

Pros: Healthy, Atmosphere, Inexpensive

Cons: Honey, Milk, No English menu

Nice place, let's see how it manages to - Edit

After a couple of visits I'll try to put together a quick review.
So, this place has an interesting concept, focused on modern, fast-paced, plant-blased lifestyle. They have a permanent menu of falafel in multiple variations (wrap, burger, etc.) and multiple versions of fries (potato, carrot, sweet potato, parsley...), and a possibility to stuff your face with an "endless salad" for ~3€. Also, their daily menu is always two or more raw soups, and one cooked main dish. And as a desert you can try one of the decadent raw cakes. I have never had an unpleasant or disappointing experience with this "lafly"(lovely) bistro.
Except for one thing: I don't know why but I thought they were vegan, as many reviews (and their bulletin) claimed. But then I found honey in the menu, and the barista said that there are eggs in one of the cakes. I'm glad I asked, because to serve bird ova in a place that has claimed to be vegan is rather misleading, not to mention the ethical aspect.
Overall I wish only the best of luck to them though, there's still a lack of places like this in Bratislava. I will visit again when possible.

Pros: Elegant interior, Very nice waitress/waiters, Endless salad (=all you can eat)

Cons: Lack of integrity, in food labelling
