Café at the Ludwigsburg Museum im MIK. Has plant milk for hot beverages and a changing selection of cakes and savoury dishes - ask staff for vegan options. Open Wed-Sun 10:00-18:00.
Closed Mon & Tue.
The atmosphere is nice and the menu is small but good. When I was there, half of the offerings were vegan (risoni-lentil pot, pretzel with tomato margarine, apricot Linzer tart). Everything is homemade and the warm dishes are freshly prepared.
I had the apricot Linzer tart, which tasted good and was a nice twist to the usual Linzer tart. Alongside I had a hot chocolate with oat milk – both hot and very chocolate-y, I loved it! 😋
I will definitely go again to try out other cakes they have (they have a daily changing selection of food).
