Read moreThis spot had been on my bucket list for a while, and it did not disappoint. I dropped in just after 1 PM when it was still quiet—though by lunchtime, it got very busy, with lots of people being turned away. Might be worth booking ahead!
It’s a great bar and restaurant, and you could easily come by just for beers and snacks. We started with the chicken croquettes, which were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. I had the club sandwich, which was fantastic and came with fries—great value for the price.
A must-visit in Madrid. Great food, great people, and great vibes!

My go to place in Madrid - Edit
This is my favourite vegan spot in Madrid, being there lot of times. The Dirty Philly is probably my all time favourite vegan burger. Tacos are good too but slightly smaller than the burger plates. Tiramisù Is on the contrary huge. Beer selection and atmosphere complete the scene. I find this location a bit more welcoming than the one in Lavapies.

There's a good selection of burgers but there's also plenty more to choose from. I had the vegan calamari and tacos. Great flavors, portions, and price. The service was friendly and there was plenty of seating in a nice atmosphere.

This is always the first and last place I go when I am in Madrid. The food is amazing, the portions are generous (and very reasonably priced), the decor/ambience is excellent, and the service is friendly, helpful, and fast. Pro tip: get the brownie for dessert—you will not regret it!

Had the classic taco, and I really enjoyed it. The flavors were just so nice and well-balanced! The place itself has a really cute and cozy vibe, almost like an Irish pub, which made it a great spot to sit and enjoy the food. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. I’d definitely go back to try more items on their menu and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for good vegan options in Madrid!

I went to Mad Mad Vegan after seeing the good reviews here on HappyCow, so my expectations were quite high. And, I'm not gonna lie, the food is really worth five stars for me. Hands-down, it's been one of the best vegan burgers I've had so far.

The neighbourhood where it's located was a bit of a downer for me - suffice to say there were quite a few sex toy shops around. (However, there are other restaurants of the same brand in Madrid, you can try those if you want.)
I think the price for my burger was adequate. I'd say it's about on-par with other (non-veggie) burger places.

Casual, hip vibe with excellent food. The vegan calamari was superb, and tasted just like the real stuff from what I recall from my pre-vegan days. The nachos were also delicious and the cookies and cream dessert was light and not too sweet. Perfect! We’ll definitely be back before our trip is over!
