So sweet! - Edit
Really cute and homely little vegan cafe close to the seafront. Good, varied menu and lots of delicious choices. We had an open sandwich and root veg hash which where delicious. They also have great cakes, milkshakes and lots of hot drinks. Cosy, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Love it!

some great vegan food - Edit
Came to bournemouth to look at the university and stopped by for lunch. I had the mushroom Stroganoff and it was delicious!!! So many tasty food options, and I had the vanilla berry cheesecake and it tasted just like the real thing!! 100% would recommend to anyone, vegan or non-vegan.

Lovely Lunch - Edit
We popped in for lunch on Sunday, unfortunately we had just missed the breakfast. I have the mushroom and chestnut bourguignon and my friend had the bean chilli, both were lovely, warming and filling on a cold winter's day. I always look forward to going back to Mad Cucumber when I am in Bournemouth.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere and yummy food - Edit
I really love visiting the mad cucumber especially on a rainy day. It does have a feel good relaxing feeling and love drinking a delicious smoothie whilst playing a board game.
Read moreThe venue has quite a few board games but many missing pieces and although I understand they are free I do wish some upkeep would be made. My partner and I used to come especially to play battle ships haha yet last time we visited suddenly nearly all the boats were missing :O :( Also previously found a bit of mouldy bread in a game box too :/Good random selection of books and magazines which I love reading. Lots to look at to pass the time and free WiFi too yay. Excellent notice board and community feel as well.
Everything I have eaten and drunk has been delicious, especially cakes and smoothies. Love the lemon and blueberry sponge and the peanut butter type cake yum yum! Food isn't the cheapest but good quality and home made and everything has always been fresh too.
Cleanliness isn't brilliant yet I do like the furniture being up cycled which is cool. I once dropped a coin and has to look under a chair which was not a nice experience. I think a good hoover even once a week would be better then nothing especially in a food premises.
Deff recommend popping in for a smoothie and cake and will continue to come back in the future too.
Pros: Delicious cakes , Yummy smoothies, Fun games and books
Cons: Little pricey for some items, Cleanliness

Lovely vegan food! - Edit
I've lived near Bournemouth for ages but for some reason had never come here before and finally decided to. So glad I did! I had the spag bol from the specials board which is not something I would ever normally order out as it's so easy to make at home but I'm so glad I did as it's the best spag bol I've ever had! Also a wide range of vegan cakes and goodies which is always great to see.

The Food is Incredible - Edit
Popped in for breakfast as it was opening. The staff are lovely, the menu is excellent and the food we ordered was delicious.
Read moreEverything from the decor, to the music played, to the presentation of the food, was thoughtful and caring without being too try-hard. I really appreciated the atmosphere.
We visit family in Plymouth each summer, and will now be including B'mouth to our future trips so we can get an annual Mad Cucumber fix.

Faultless! 💚 - Edit
The vegan cucumber ticks every box for the food to the music to the staff! The vegan roast is second to none, the place is instantly calming as you walk through the door and the deserts and out of this world! Well worth the journey from Portsmouth!
