Delicious vegan menu - Edit
There is a whole vegan menu here. I stared at it for ages, overwhelmed by choice. I ended up with the avocado and tofu toast and it was delicious. The tofu was marinated so well (only complaint is maybe there could have been more of it for protein sake 😊). I was full for ages, the price was very reasonable and the coffee was great too.

Excellent vegan menu - Edit
I've been here twice in 1 week! Great Vegan menu. Very reasonable price for the dishes, considering how much everything costs these days.
Read moreMy first visit I tried the vegan Mac n cheese balls and salted peanut butter milkshake. $22 and I was FULL. The serving size looked small but I was stuffed by the end.
Second visit I had the Spud Lightyear burger, fried potato pattie, vegan cheese, mayo, lettuce and onion. And a side of chips.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
You do need to specify that you want the vegan option when ordering because a lot of the items are vegetarian but can be made vegan by swapping the cheese or egg.

Yummy Burgers & Lots of Options! - Edit
Mad Benji is a great local spot with a big menu and plenty of vegan options. I’ve been here so many times now and I love that I can still get something different!
Read moreMy personal favourite is the Dream Weaver burger - the PB schnitzel in there is next-level crunchy! They also have delicious shakes and smoothies.
Staff are friendly, location is easy to find and being in a shopping square there is always plenty of parking.
Pros: Yummy food, Extensive vegan menu, Friendly staff
Cons: Can be busy at times

Delish!! - Edit
Had a family burger night whilst visiting Melbourne and Mad Benji is close by. Great selection of plant based burgers. I had the PB pulled pork and it was delicious.

Mad benji has the most incredible range of vegan burgers, breakfast items and poke bowls. It’s seriously epic. We have tried so many yummy things here but we love the mad pretender burger. They also have an epic range of vegan shakes and smoothies. YUM. You have to try it.

Lots of options - Edit
Remarkably large number of vegan options for burgers, shakes, smoothies, and others. The vegan Oreo shake is particularly good.

Unique Vegan Burgers - Edit
Every vegan burger (of which there are quite are few) has a unique patty. They don't sell any beyond meat style burgers, instead focusing on a separate flavour profile and combination for each burger. This gives me the feeling that they actually care and put thought into their vegan options rather than just ticking a 'vegan' box.
Read moreAt first I was dubious because I quite like my mock meat burgers and am not enticed by the classic "veggie patty" burgers. This was not that at all. I ordered the double fury burger which included two unique patties: a cauliflower and broccoli patty paired with a chickpea and pumpkin patty. Seriously, the flavour of this thing put it into the stratosphere of my not too distant memories of the best meat burgers I've had.
It is amazing that we have a restaurant of this style with these options out here in the South East Suburbs of Melbourne that is normally reserved the inner city folk.
Pros: Lots of unique vegan burger options, Dedicated Vegetarian/Vegan menu
Cons: More mock meat options would be nice
