Good pizza! - Edit
This place was pretty good. Nice, thick crust for those who like that and they have daiya cheese as an option. We got the McKinsey pizza with no cheese and a cheese pizza with vegan cheese. The veggies on the McKinsey were great and they really piled them high. Crust and sauces are vegan.

I took my mom out for a dinner and we stumbled on mackenzie’s and they were fantastic! i’m the only vegan in my family so they try to make sure i feel included with options more then salad i can just made at home and i appreciate that always. our waitress was wonderful! she made it the best evening and the food was so good! i got a extra vegan cheese pizza with no sauce because i don’t like sauce on my pizzas. we will be going back for my birthday! i got the hummus tray for a before meal snack and we both loved that!

Best vegan pizza in town - Edit
I asked and the soy cheese is vegan. I has a small pizza with olive oil, garlic and olives and it was fantastic. Will be a regular here. They also had veggie pepperoni, if you're into that.

Read moreWe got a pretty standard veggie pie with vegan cheese and it did not disappoint. Probably not a high-end pizza with amazing crust, but it was hot and well-cooked and yummy!

Note that the soy cheese is kind of buried in the menu as a 'topping' instead of being listed as one of the cheese choices. That is my only complaint about the place. I didn't notice it until *after* we ordered, so I had to call the waitress back and re-order which made me feel like I was being kind of rude (she hadn't put in the order yet, but still). Why not list it as a cheese choice?
Traveling through cattle country on a road trip, it seemed like every hotel and restaurant we went into is decorated with the heads of dead animals on the wall. What is with that? As soon as we walked into MacKenzie's, I knew we were in a good place. It has a slightly western theme but they do it in a humane way with a carved wooden bear at the hostess station, 'old time' jugs and bottles, an old school row boat hanging from the ceiling.
Montana deserves a standing ovation for having a restaurant chain like this.
