Tasty Mac N Cheese - Edit

Mac'd - Edit
I last ate at Mac'd in August 2018 when they were offering vegan cheese from the Uncreamery. The mac and cheese itself was incredibly delicious because of the vegan cheese; however, I never wen't back much for more because the mac and cheese is very expensive (I do remember the vegan version being more $$$ than the non-vegan) and it's not something I eat everyday anyway. If Mac'd are still using Uncreamery cheese, it's definitely worth it to head over there to try at least once.

It's 17 dollars if you want the vegan mac and cheese. I wouldn't have been as bothered if it were half the price, but it still wasn't good either way. Completely flavorless and the fries weren't any good. I would skip this place if I were you, it's not worth trying.

Vegan options - Edit
Having the vegan options is always a plus so I don’t want to be too harsh...but the actual product was only ok. Pasta was a little overdone and the flavours were a bit lacking.

Decent, but not worth the money - Edit
The vegan mac is $3 more than their others. And in addition to that a lot of the free toppings aren't suitable for vegans, so you end up paying extra for a mac which doesn't have all that much to it. I've had far better vegan mac for far less than the $17 this basic bowl came out to.

Stopped here for what seemed like a fun dinner: build your own mac and cheese. Ordered two bowls and two sides and the total was almost $60 😳. The mac and cheese with vegan gouda sauce itself was okay, and the brussels sprouts were good. Truffle fries we had to order without parmesan cheese... they were okay.

They do have a vegan Mac. However, it is $3 more than the regular Mac and cheese, which puts the total at about $17 for a bowl at this location. The bowl is about 2 servings and includes a few veggie mix ins. It was pretty good, but I don’t think I can justify the price point again.
