Very tasty Indian food, clear vegetarian and vegan options with plenty of choice. Staff ask how spicy you want the food and accommodate well. We had Daal Makhani and Aloo Bhaigan, both excellent. Very reasonably priced for Luang Prabang (veg curries 55,000 each, plus rice and bread on top).

Seems a bit more authentic than Fathima's close by in terms of seasoning. Good portion. I enjoyed the tofu.

Best Indian in town - Edit
Near the river, basic decor with basic prices. Halal, so no alcohol. Most dishes 30k to 50k Lak (see menus). By far the tastiest of all the Indian restaurants in Louangphrabang, and the only one that means it when they say spicy. They will ask when ordering, so be aware they are not like most places where spicy means you can barely detect the chilli, here they can go right up to vindaloo.

Superb Indian food. This place is up there with the best I've had. The restaurant serves meat but there is a whole page on the menu for vegetarian food. Lots of options.
