Great veganfood - Edit
This is a great healthy lunch spot in Chicago. I love that they have plenty of vegan options on the menu. The Buffalo cauliflower tacos were so delicious and really hit the spot!

LYFE - Edit
I don't get the hype with LYFE. I like this place, but am never excited about eating here.
Read moreLet's start with the good. The vegan ravioli is actually quite tasty. It's made with daiya cheese and fake meats on the inside, and comes with veggies sautéed in the dish. Sometimes the staff will put the right amount of sauce/broth in the dish, sometimes they don't. When they don't, the dish doesn't taste as good. The other downside? You don't get much in a serving. But that's probably what makes it healthier or lower in calories. Daiya and fake meat aren't the most healthy vegan items, they're processed and are high in calories and/or fat, so lower portions make it "healthier".
The bad? Everything else labeled as vegan. The vegan burger was dry and tasteless (the bun was crumbly). The arugula salad that accompanies most meals does not taste good and is too lemony. The quinoa crunch wrap is gross, especially if you get talked in to adding tofu (which I ended up removing).
Again, the ravioli is the only thing really worth trying and is better than most vegan raviolis I've had; however, I think they may have discontinued it or are rotating it by season.
Would I eat here again? If I am desperate for food or a friend suggests it, yes.

Super delicious - Edit
Ordered the tofu Thai bowl and vegan chimichurri sandwich and 2 forage kombucha (raspberry and tropical) and was pleasantly surprised at the flavours and taste. Both meals arrived with a “vegan” spiked tag. 5/5 would recommend to vegans and veggies alike.

Tasty food with good vegan options, a bit commercial vibe - Edit
I tried the vegan breakfast burrito which came along with a side of potatoes and was really filling and tasty. Items are marked as vegan / vegetarian / dairy free / glutenfree explicitly. Staff is very friendly and the venue's atmosphere leans more towards chique, but also commercial

Overpriced - Edit
I only ever go here if there are no better vegan options nearby. The food is really overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. The “side salad” they give you with the beyond burger is just lettuce with nothing else on it. I got the gardein tenders once and they were so bad I didn’t finish eating them. Definitely not worth it, unless you have no other restaurant options.

Stumbled across - Edit
I was out with a group of people from work and the restaurant we were eating at could not accommodate a Vegan dish. Luckily Lyfe kitchen was across the street.

Delicious - Edit
This was my favorite meal on our trip. I had the quinoa salad with crispy gardin protein as a wrap. It was filling and satisfying without being overly greasy. Lots of options.

Good for Groups - Edit
The vegan selection isn't huge, but the items they do have are good. My go to is the curry bowl with tofu. The beyond burger was underwhelming - I'd skip it next time.

Gluten Free Vegan Here - Edit
Was a cute place to relax and get food. There are gluten free vegan options. I got the beyond burger with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. It was really good but a "salad" came with it that was just spring mix with balsamic vinegar.

a terrific find - Edit
Who would think in Memphis one could find a vegan friendly restaurant! And with so many options! I've have not indulged in dessert since becoming Vegan 3 months ago but just had to try the chocolate mousse with fruit, nuts and a vegan chocolate chip cookie. So worth the extra calories.

A New Favorite - Edit
Really great food at a great price. This location has a menu that differs ever so slightly from the menu online. My quinoa bowl was $10 and it was perfectly filling and delicious. There are lots of vegan options and a lot of the other menu items seem like they can be made vegan as well. The atmosphere is great. It's a really bright, open space.

VGF Yum! - Edit
So excited to have a VGF meal without being afraid it wasn't VGF. I enjoyed a burger ith side salad and sweet potato fries. The dressing (balsamic?) came on the greens. It was a little strong for me.

Very vegan-friendly and gluten-free-friendly - Edit
I am so happy to have discovered this place. There is a whole menu for vegans ... and it isn't just a few options, there are probably 20 items to choose from. When going to a non-vegan restaurant, I am used to quickly scanning the menu for the one (or possibly two, if I'm lucky) items I can eat and going with that. So I am not used to having so many choices and I love it!

Great food in a relaxing atmosphere - Edit
The meal I ordered was fantastic, penne with mushrooms and a cashew cream sauce. I took a bite before realizing it contained Chicken. The mix up was fixed as soon as I realized it, but it was too late. I'm not used to having to inspect my food before I start eating, especially when it comes from a veg specific menu.

Love This Place - Edit
Lyfe is great. They have a completely separate menu with veg items that has a nice selection. The morning veggie breakfast wrap with tofu, veggies, and Daiya is so good. Every item on their menu is under 600 calories and there are many healthful items, so it is very easy to have a nutritious meal. I will say that my my hail kale ceasar salad weirdly had very little kale in it, but it was tasty anyway. Garlic lime tofu can be added to any salad, and it's quite good. I enjoyed this place in Chicago and am glad to see that their are locations in other cities as well.

Great breakfast spot! - Edit
With breakfast being the most difficult meal for me, this spot was perfect! Their tofu scramble wrap is filling and very tasty (tofu, tomatoes, daiya cheese, arugula, and sausage.) They also have oatmeal and spicy potatoes. Didn't have any smoothies but there are many to choose from.

Good Food and Good Service - Edit
The layout of the restaurant was confusing because we didn’t realize that we entered from a side door. We were fine once an employee set us on the right path. Separate menus are available for vegan/vegetarian items. We arrived at 10:59 am, just in time to order breakfast, which ends at 11:00. My husband and I each had the breakfast scramble. It was very tasty but small for the price. The staff was attentive and helpful. Water is offered chilled, ambient and sparkling.

Lots Of Vegan Options - Edit
Not a vegan restaurant, but vegan options are clearly indicated, and they have specialty menus available that list just the vegan (or just the gluten free) items.
Read moreYou order at the counter and the food is brought to you. We arrived a little before noon and the food was ready very quickly.
Tofu tacos were delicious.
Kids had Gardein chicken tenders; nothing special, but it kept them happy, as did the vegan chocolate chip cookies.
Definitely will try again.
