We loved eating here, but since this summer they do not have many vegan options left. Only breakfast. No more burger or wrap. We are so sad, because it was one of our favourite restaurants.

Best restaurant on the island - Edit
I tried the vegan burger, currywurst and cake. Everything was very tasty and they have a lot of other vegan options. Definitely the best place to eat on Borkum for vegans and vegetarians.

I had the vegan wrap and was instantly convinced by the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The wrap was filled with peanut butter, salad, fresh raw veggies, grapes and crispy deep fried tofu nuggets. The fries were obviously handmade and the portion size was huge! While the fries were perfect, the wrap itself could have used more salt. There were some sea vegetables arranged on top of the wrap which added some saltiness, but still a little more salt would have complemented the ingredients in the wrap. I loved the idea of including those foraged little seaside plants! Overall, the atmosphere in this cafe is really nice and it is very noticeable that the food is made with love.

Bestes Café/ Restaurant für VeganerInnen auf Borkum - Edit
Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Kaffee mit tollem Blick auf den alten Leuchtturm. Es gibt immer mindestens einen begaben Kuchen, alle Kaffee- und Milchgetränke können mit Hafermilch zubereitet werden. Es gibt ein veganes Frühstück, Burger, Currywurst und einen Veganer wrap. Alles war seeeehr lecker. Alles in allem ist das Café nur zu empfehlen und hat die beste Auswahl für VeganerInnen auf der ganzen Insel!

Dieses Café würde mit Sicherheit unser Stammcafé werden, wenn wir auf Borkum leben würden! Wir haben hier das vegane Frühstück, die vegane Currywurst, den vegetarischen Schoko- und Mohnkuchen, sowie die vegane Bowl und den vegetarischen Burger mit Halloumi probiert. Alles war wirklich lecker, preislich vollkommen in Ordnung, die Portionsgröße war gut, das Essen war schön angerichtet und das Café gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch Kaffee und Kakao waren richtig lecker und konnten mit Hafermilch bestellt werden.

Vegan breakfast, very tasty. Also vegan latte macchiato. The place offers lots of vegan options, has nice staff and is nicely decorated and comfortable. To sit inside reservation is recommended.

Die vegane Currywurst war super lecker, wenn auch etwas weich, was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Der Chai Latte mit Hafermilch war einfach ein Traum! Allerdings muss man leider 50 Cent mehr für die Hafermilch zahlen… Das Personal war ebenfalls super! Alles ist etwas langsamer, also eher weniger was für jemanden, der es eilig hat;) Alles in allem dennoch klare Empfehlung!

A very nice café with stylish interior. They serve some vegan options and offer oat milk. We had very delicious fries, an iced latte and a chai latte. I'd say it is the best café on the island. The place is located next to the old lighthouse.

Nice cafe with a few vegan options - Edit
We stopped here once for cake, and another time for a meal. I had a vegan plum cake with streusel that was really good, and I was pleasantly surprised to be asked if I also wanted vegan whipped cream with it. The have very nice coffee that they roast themselves, with a few different plant milks available. The vegan wrap is huge! I really liked the panko tofu inside, and the fries were really good. Service is good, although sometimes a bit slow, but we weren't in any hurry.

Sehr herzliche Atmosphäre, gute Auswahl für Veganer, Hafermilch. Obwohl ich nicht nachgefragt habe, hat der Service sogar ein veganes Plätzchen zum Kakao gebracht, weil er wusste, dass das normale nicht vegan ist! Sehr zu empfehlen.

The cafe offers a great choice of vegan hot chocolates and has one vegan cake on the menu. The menu also includes vegan soups and stews. The food was delicious and the stuff was lovely. The cafe was very vegan-friendly which is rare on the island. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Hübsches Cafe mit freundlichem, aufmerksamem Personal. Man kann verschiedene heiße Schokoladen mit Soja-oder Haselnussmilch bekommen, z.B. Nougat oder Ingwer-Kokos. Sogar das Plätzchen, was man zu heißen Schokolade bekommt, ist vegan, die Bedienung hat extra darauf hingewiesen. Leckerer veganer Kuchen.

Schönes, kleines Cafe in der Nähe des alten Leuchtturms. Jeden Tag gibt es hier mindestens einen leckeren veganen Kuchen und eine vegane Suppe/Eintopf. Auch eine vegane Eissorte wird angeboten. Viele Getränke werden wahlweise mit Soja- oder Haselnussmilch angeboten, wie Chai Latte, heisse Schokolade, Latte Macchiato etc.

Great Vegan Choices And Friendly Staff! - Edit
It is not a 100% vegan location. But they offer vegan fresh selfmade cake, ice cream and different coffee variations with plant based "milk". Even the cookies served with the coffee are vegan. One day I had a perfect vegan vegetable chilli which was the meal of the day. Beside that the staff is very friendly and absolutely doing a perfect job in making this place a place with heart......
