couldn’t recommend more - Edit
went to this place as somewhere that actually has vegan options, which can be a struggle in france sometimes😅 (coming from someone who lived in france for 3 years) and i cannot express how good it was.
Read morei asked if i could do a scrambled tofu on toast off menu and they said yes but there was a slight miscommunication, but im actually glad that happened because the tofu i had was INCREDIBLE, i also had the best matcha i’ve ever had, im still thinking of it now🤣
the cafe is super cute inside and the staff were really friendly! food wasn’t super quick so isn’t somewhere you could come for a very quick 15 minute break necessarily but i would 100% recommend!
they had vegan croissants ready whereas pain au chocolat were a 20 minute wait as they cook as needed so just a heads up if that’s what you’re wanting!

Nice brunch & great iced coffee - Edit
I had their vegan brunch with scrumbled tofu (actually more like a plain Fried tofu), bacon and mushrooms. It was pretty good but the tofu was quite bland and not their old Fried version they used to have with turmeric! Bacon and mushrooms were tasty, I was just missing some avo or sort of dips to go with the bread! And it there was a lot of oil!
Read moreTheir pistachio croissant was really nice and not sweet which I prefer. Iced coffee is the best one I've had so far in Annecy, fresh juice was good too. The girl staff was a bit defensive and annoyed when I pointed out this was not a scrambled tofu but fried so I was a bit disappointed she just asked me but do you like it which wasn't the point and she was quite defective about it. On the other side the male waiter (tan and brown hair) was really friendly and open to discussion and constructive which was nice. He told me they opened 10 month ago so I think they are still in learning process with stuff which is understandable
They have a terrace which is in the shade in the afternoon as well as many indoor seats. Overall I had a great experience and would come back . The whole thing costed 28.5€
Pros: Tasty fresh food, Great pistachio croissant & coffee, Male waiter was really nice & welcoming
Cons: Brown hair girl staff was defensive and annoyed, Little pricey, Not accurate tofu description for the bowl

Vegan pastries & super friendly staff - Edit
I've been here twice, the first time for a decaf oat milk flat white, and the second time for a vegan pain au chocolat and iced tea. The coffee was delicious and the pastry was great too. It seems like they make them to order because they advised me it would take 20 minutes. But it was worth the wait and it came hot with extra chocolate sauce and hazelnuts on top! I can't wait to go back and try the pistachio croissant 😍 Staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Easy to make vegan - Edit
Very friendly and easy to order as an English speaker. Offered to make BLT bagel vegan with tofu and hummus instead of halloumi and mayo. Free takeaway containers but no takeaway cutlery.

Keine veganen Gerichte auf der Karte - Edit
Sehr schönes, gemütliches Restaurant. Personal sehr nett. Es gab jedoch keine veganen Gerichte auf der Karte. Auf Nachfrage wurde ein Veganer Bagel zubereitet. Dieser war dann aber sehr, sehr gut!

Alright - Edit
I was looking forward to come here, but it was rather mid. First we had to wait for 15-20 min to place our orders, sitting outside.
Read moreI had the brunch formula, and to be honest the portion was a bit tiny. The bread was rock solid and there was no oil, sauce or cream to accompany the rest of the food. The tofu was bland.
On the other hand, the roasted mushrooms were delicious and the vegan bacon impressive. The pistacchio croissant was lovely as well, although soaked.
Pros: Roasted mushrooms, Vegan bacon
Cons: Long waiting time to order, Hard bread, Bland tofu

Great pie - Edit
When we arrived, they were out of vegan chocolate au pain. So we tried a vegan pie with an almond crust and cashew and orange and lemon filling. It was delicious. I also had vegan hot chocolate very tasty on a cold day.

Extrem lange Wartezeit - Edit

Brilliant! - Edit
We had a lovely experience at Lundi au Soleil!
Read moreBoth members of staff we spoke to had excellent English and were extremely friendly- they couldn’t have been more helpful, especially in terms of catering for complex orders including various dietary requirements! One of our party is gluten free, and was able to have the brunch main with gluten free bread no problem.
The brunch was super- scrambled tofu, salad, toast multiple available vegan options to add on the side. We particularly enjoyed the mushrooms 😋.
We had to wait quite while for our pastries to arrive as they had to cook them specially, but they were so delicious when they did eventually come! Top marks for the vegan pain au chocolate- wow that was delicious!
Furthermore, the cafe was beautifully decorated- calm and bright 😌
Will be returning (hopefully)!
Pros: Yummy food, Helpful staff, Lovely decor
Cons: Only vegan milk option was oat milk, Longish wait for pastries

Cozy but the staff messed up - Edit
I got ordinary scrambled eggs instead of the vegan scrambled tofu. The waiter said I ordered eggs (I said "vegan scrambled eggs"), and I didn't wanna cause a scene so I had it anyway (I still eat eggs sorryyy). But that's really not okay, I could've been entirely vegan. My boyfriend found this waiter rude, which I didn't agree to until this happened. Rest of the staff was nice though, although they also burnt my croissant so that I had to wait for them to prepare a new one. They spoke english (the menu was in french though. fine by me, i know french, but they didn't even ask if we understood it), and gave us a small discount. We liked the atmosphere and the menu, and the food in itself was good. Could've been at least 4 stars if it wasn't for these slip-ups ):
