What a Find! - Edit

A big thank you to whoever listed this on HappyCow. I've been coming to Grosse Pointe for over 20 years and had no idea this fantastic restaurant was just miles away.

Let me tell you all the awesome things about the Lunch Box. You can "vegetize" any meat sandwich, replacing the meat with tofu at no extra charge. There's a carpese baguette, veggie burger, grilled veggie sandwich, classic veggie sandwich, a Mr. T veggie with hummus, avocado, etc, an Artichoke Grill sandwich, egg salad, the options go on and on and on. In short, if you're a vegetarian you will be in heaven. As a vegan, I still do very well here especially with the option to replace meat with tofu which opens up the entire menu. Excellent selection of salads too.

One pet peeve of mine is when restaurants list their meat selections first and relegate the veggie options to the bottom of the list, like they are somehow inferior or an afterthought. Lunch Box lists chicken first and beef in the middle, but the veggie options are still off to the side. Would be nice to have them listed front and center.
