Had two sides for breakfast - Edit

There's definitely not vegan options here. For breakfast, I picked two of the sides - the raisin oatmeal and home fries. Yummy, but don't go expecting a full vegan entre.

Better options available closeby - Edit

Some options for vegetarians but very little for vegans. They do have a veg burger but, with Bareburger, which offers three vegan burger options, not to mention vegan carrot cake, just a few blocks up Connecticut Avenue, not much reason to get the burger here. It was pretty decent, though, as were the fries. Given the many veg options available closeby, it is hard to recommend Luna.

Pros: Good veg burger, Good fries

Cons: Very few choices

We Love Luna! - Edit

While it's true that Luna doesn't serve vegan food, it does serve some vegetarian food. We are vegan and sometimes enjoy eating here when we feel like having pancakes, French toast, or an omelet. The staff are helpful and friendly. It may be that staff do not know the difference between vegetarian and vegan. This is a training issue that management should take responsibility for and improve staff knowledge so that they can be more helpful to patrons.

Pros: Delicious food, Affordable prices, Attractive decor & wall paintings

Cons: Can be noisy sometimes
