Serves meat, vegan options available. The chef & owner is vegetarian and has designed the menu to give veggie diners more than the usual Mexican food options. Vegan queso fundido with chorizo and plantain chips appetizer, tinga pueblana (Mexican style pulled "pork"), quesadilla, soup and salad. Intimate, kitschy setting. Reported closed to HappyCow.

Closed for remodeling, Sep 2012 - Edit
I stopped by here on Sunday, Sep 2 2012 and found the windows papered up with a sign saying it was under new management and asking us to please pardon the delay while the remodel. Hopefully they'll keep up the good food, keeping it at 4 cows as encouragement.

Came into town for a local event. This is one of the few places listed as vegan friendly. Look at the website and menu, options are listed. The food was good. But of the entrees one was a bit pricey. But would recommend it and go there again.

Awesome!! - Edit
This place just opened, and we are SO excited to have it here. It's got tons of vegan foods - and not just the generic "Oh, you're vegan? Here's some steamed veggies." We went for dinner opening night: we got vegan queso fundido with melty vegan cheese and vegan chorizo - I had to actually check to make sure it was all vegan - with yummy plantain chips, vegan empanaditas with a tomatillo sauce, then I got the vegan quesadilla (again, yum) and my sweetie had the vegan version of their tinga pueblana - spicy pulled "pork" that comes with pickled red onions, avocados, and corn tortillas to wrap it up in.
