Vegetarian not vegan - Edit

Our omnivore family brought us here believing there was a vegan dinner tofu option. Sadly, the tofu is marinated in something with dairy. So there isn’t a true dinner here for vegans. However, we’ve been vegan a long time and the server was very helpful. They checked on a few of the potentials (like fried pickles) and were proactive in checking on the croutons before bringing our salads out.

While we were disappointed the tofu wasn’t vegan, they did accommodate us as best they could.

The salad was big and the dressing was great. The veggies (broccoli on our night there) were cooked to perfection. The yam fries and chips were great. We’ve cobbled together meals that were far less satisfying.

We left full and it wasn’t completely awkward for our family to watch us eat a bit of wet lettuce while they feasted.

Pros: Proactive in checking for non vegan ingredients , Tasted great , Vegetarian options marked on menu

Cons: No vegan dinner option
