I had a tasty pasta salad and good juice. The restaurant is stylish. They did put a sliced egg in the salad though even thought they called it vegan. Even so I would come back again.

The menu is a little confusing, but the food is delicious. They always have a vegan option. Also they have excellent coffee.

They always have at least one vegetarian (not always vegan, even if labeled as such, so be sure to ask) “bol” available (changes daily—could be a rice dish, a pasta dish, etc.). Sometimes they have a vegan sandwich. They will veganize other stuff for you, too. The food is excellent, but come early because they tend to run out. Speaking of early, they close at 7:00 p.m., and will kick you out at 7 sharp, so don’t plan on coming for dinner unless you like to eat early. Expensive for Dakar, but the food is good.

Vegan labeled, but not vegan - Edit

Read moreI ordered the vegan bowl of the day (mafé) and found pieces of meat in it. Basically, the just (tried unsuccessfully to) seperate the meat sauce from the meat cooked in it and called it vegan.
So disappointing and disgusting experience.
Always at least one vegan bowl available which is also labeled as such. The bowl changes daily, delicious, fresh ingredients, big portions. It's a a lovely place to spend some time, either inside in cozy livingroom atmosphere, or outside on the terrace.
