Range of vegan banh mi options - Edit
I reckon these guys do one of the best vegan banh mi’s around. I really like the lemongrass tofu one. The fried rice is tasty too. Friendly service and a cash-preferring venue.

Love the Bahn Mi here! - Edit
IMHO this’s the best tasting and best value for money Bahn Mi in Melbourne. They warm up the mock meat which is a nice touch. The lady at the counter is super friendly too. No vegan sweets unfortunately.

Good vegan options - Edit
Everything was good, I ordered a vegan pecking duck roll and a vegan bao. Maybe if the bao had a little bit more filling it would be perfect, but was still delicious. The staff is super friendly and kind.

Awesome Vegan Options - Edit
My go to is the 5 spice chicken, so delicious. Has a lot of the mock-meat and the portion size is great. Bun is always fresh, now even has vegan pate. Highly recommend as a healthier takeaway option.

Amazing!! - Edit
Delicious Banh Mi! The vegan pork crackle is unlike any mock meat I have ever tried - very impressive. This Banh Mi filling is perfectly balanced and staff were lovely. My partner and I agree this is the best vegan Banh Mi in Melbourne. I can’t wait to go back.

Not bad, but not my style - Edit
I heard a lot about this place, and I had to try it. It’s not my favourite Bahn mi, but not bad. They put too much faux meat imo. The staff were lovely!

try again - Edit
I was excited to try Luke’s bánh mì after hearing about his amazing vegan creations like “pork” crackling and “beef” in betel leaves. Unfortunately on the day I went, there were only 3, fairly standard vegan options - lemongrass tofu, roast pork, and 5 spice chicken. I got the chicken which was juicy and sweet with a hint of warm spice. The roll was soft, without the crunchy crust that can make such a mess, and the salad was fresh. It was lovely but I’ve definitely eaten similar before and was looking forward to trying something different. Maybe next time! I also got a vegan Vietnamese iced coffee (had to ask about it, didn’t see it listed) which was one of the nicest I’ve had. The coffee had a delicious nutty flavour. Finally, I tried the spring rolls as well. I liked the slight sweetness of the taro filling but it was very dry. Wouldn’t recommend. The buns look fluffy so maybe give them a go instead. I’ll be back to try my luck on another day.

Wonderful Vietnamese bakery with many vegan options - Edit
I love this bakery. They offer so many different kinds of vegan bánh mì, such as pork, chicken, tofu, schnitzel, and many others. Vegan crackling pork is a new and very delicious offering - the owner created the recipe himself using a traditional family recipe!
Read moreThey also offer delicious steamed buns in vegan flavours such as taro,
red bean, or vegetable.
There are some elusive vegan desserts I haven't gotten to try yet as they're always sold out!
There is also vegan coffee, and vegan Vietnamese iced coffee.
I've never had a less than great experience here, and the staff are always lovely. The owner, Luke, seems to really appreciate his vegan customers and he is constantly creating new foods for us!
