Absolute Weiterempfehlung

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und der Kuchen und Kaffee sehr lecker. Die Atmosphäre war sehr heimelig.

Pros: Viele vegane Optionen, Größe Küchenauswahl

Lui/lazy café

Had a lovely time here, played some board games. Not many seats but the place is very cosy with lots of plants. I have had better soj milk coffee in my life though.

Heerlijk plekje!

Lui hoort zeker bij mijn top 5 restaurants on Groningen. Je kan hier heerlijk vegan lunchen, of een taartje scoren. Het is altijd lekker en je krijgt zeker waar voor je geld! Ook heel vriendelijk personeel!

Cozy Atmosphere

The plants and music make for a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the vegan cake and coffee we had were great.

Best place in Groningen

Cosy, lovely, friendly atmosphere. The vegan nachos are the best. Everything taste great!

Super cozy cafe with mouth drooling vegan treats!

The cafe is gorgeous inside and emanates a feeling of spring due to being full of plants. Actually, since you seem to be able to buy some of the plants in pots, it is almost like a plant shop in simultaneous.
My friend and I ordered two oat cappuccinos (almond milk also available), which despite being very tasty, lacked some cute latte art. However, the fact that the ratio of espresso/milk/foam was absolutely nailed made up for it. 
I also got myself a slice of their raw berry cake (4 euros) and it was just to die for. I was just so nutty, fresh, creamy and coconutey. It was perfectly sweetened with natural sugars and so darn YUMMY. My friend had a slice of their mocha cake, which she also loved. It had a white frosting with big chocolate chunks on top. It is worth mentioning that apart from these two cakes they also had carrot cake and the more traditionally looking cheesecake (both vegan).Even though the price for the oat cappuccino was quite ok (2,75€), the berry cake I had was 4€ and the mocha cake was 3,50€., which I find to be just slightly pricey. However, these are prices that I am happily willing to pay given how pretty the cafe itself is, the great choice of vegan sweet treats and the quality of the food/drinks served. Plus, the staff was also very welcoming and friendly with us.

Cons: Pricey desserts, Small size/limited seating

Amazing café

We love lui café! Is it so beautiful & cozy! The decoration is stunning & there are so many beautiful plants. The food is really good & the people who work here are so nice(especially the lady who runs it) Lui is our new favorite spot in Groningen!

Pros: Vegan options , Super cozy & so beautiful , Lovely staff

Cons: They also sell meat

Super cozy

Café Lui is the perfect place to chill for a bit! The atmosphere is lovely with plants everywhere and the food is good too. I particularly loved the mokka cake, so good! Definitely recommend.
