Great for a quick bite! - Edit
Super good vegan sandwich shop in the Reading Terminal Market. I had their bacon, egg, and cheese (vegan of course) breakfast sandwich and it was delicious! The staff were friendly and overall it was a great experience. I made another stop here to try the Italian hoagie and a coffee cake! Both were really good. The hoagie felt a bit on the small side, but the flavor was there.

I was staying nearby and attending a conference. The Terminal Market was full of lovely options, but LUHV's was the best! Quick service, great food! I also was able to get things to-go for later in the day.

I was so happy to find a vegan deli in the Reading Terminal market with delicious food and reasonable prices. I brought my cousin who eats meat and even she loved their tuna salad wrap. Highly recommend!

Vegan Deli! ❤️ - Edit
The menu is awesome, it is hard to pick what to try… lots options. Or you can buy your own deli stuff and take home to make your own sandwiches. Everything tastes fresh and service is great. Very nice dessert selection too.

LUHV at First Bite - Edit
The Cheesesteak included LUHV ground seitan, sautéed peppers and onions, and provolone cheese. The Italian hoagie included ham, salami, capicola, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and Italian dressing. Both sandwiches had great meats and bread.

Just excellent - Edit
I’ll go here any time I’m around Reading Terminal and occasionally I’ll snag delivery. The Reuben is amazing, and having a place I can get deli style food to bring home is so convenient.

Yummy Cheesesteak! - Edit
Nice amount of seitan, and the onions and red peppers went so well with the provolone! The roll was nice and crusty, and it held the ingredients in perfectly! For $10, you can’t go wrong! Great portion size.

Smoked beet lox - Edit
An absolutely lovely place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. I had the smoke beet lox and was overjoyed at the brilliance of how well the flavors went together. Tempeh "meats" looked alright, I'll go back to try them soon, but I will be thinking about the smoked beets for a long long time.

Welcome sight! - Edit
Im staying across the street and options in the immediate neighborhood are limited. This place is not only close, but also in a fabulous market and with a great menu. So far I've tried the Philly cheesesteak--good flavor but the texture is very different than a traditional cheesesteak--the amazing brownie, the superfood salad (good), and the chicken parm (very good). Service is quick and friendly and the place is plastic free. Love that.

Perfection - Edit
A vegan deli - could you ask for anything more??? I had a Reuben (my fave) and the coffee cake. I wasn’t expecting to love it so, but the bread was perfection and it tasted so good that it reminded me of getting a sammie from a NY deli as a kid.

Vegan cheese steak!! - Edit
The service was quick..I got a cheese steak and it was good. It was a little dry so I'd add some more mayo but all in all, I would definitely go there again! They had so many sandwich options!

This place is in the middle of a bustling food court which was great for my non vegan husband. I loved having the security of a full vegan restaurant and the staff was very friendly. My food was super hot and fresh.

Nice lunch spot with lots of options, the Reuben and caprese sandwich were good. The Philly cheesesteak was also very tasty, although the bread was tough and chewy.

Delicious! - Edit
So great to have a fully vegan spot in Reading Terminal Market. I was overwhelmed by choice but had a delicious turkey bacon sandwich. My only comment is the bread was slightly dry but otherwise really tasty. Also bought some bacon to take away which I’ve really been enjoying.

Very good overall - Edit
I got several items, first was the Reuben. It was tasty, but the bread wasn't great (it was toasted and a little dry, it really should have been grilled) and I felt there should have been more meat on it. Next was the lox bagel sandwich. It consisted of lox (made from smoked golden beets), cream cheese, red onion, and capers. Again, the worst part was the bread, it was either stale or over toasted, so it was hard and made the sandwich impossible to eat. The components of the sandwich, however, were delicious. The lox was SO good, really amazing! They also sell vegan deli meat by the half pound. I bought a pound of bacon and a pound of capicola to take home. WOW! Absolutely delicious! I had to put it in the freezer because I couldn't stop eating it 😄

Great lunch counter. - Edit
Nice to find a place with many vegan options inside the touristy market of a LOT of non vegan options. The person at the counter was pleasant, helpful with suggestions of items on the menu.

Wasn't thrilled, but I'd still try it again - Edit
During my recent trip to Philadelphia I decided to try out LUHV Vegan Deli which I had somehow never been to before. I ended up getting a veggie/bean burger and a brownie.
Read moreI think the main thing I wasn't fond of was the bread. It was quite tough and made it hard for me to enjoy my sandwich as much as I wanted to. The meal felt a little drier and more stale than I'd have liked. Otherwise, it was tasty enough and the brownie was delicious. I just hope the other sandwiches use different bread, or maybe I was just unlucky that particular day/meal.
I'll definitely give them another try in the future, largely because they were very friendly and because I've heard great things about other items on their menu. I just wasn't overly impressed by my first experience there, that's all.
Pros: Very friendly, Tasty dessert
Cons: Bread wasn't great

I started my week in Philly in the Reading Terminal Market. I was making mental notes of everything vegan when I spoted this all vegan stand. On Day 1 I ordered their Lox Bagel, and troughout the week I had their Italian Hoagie, Crab Cake Sandwich, and a slice of carrot cake.
Read moreThe flavors were all amazing. My 1 complaint was that the bread was always toasted a little too hard for my liking. Then again, I never asked them to lighlty toast my orders so it is what it is.
Their carrot cake was heavenly bliss. It literaly melted in your mouth, while still having the crunchy textures that I love.
I definitely recommend paying them a visit.

Had Cuban sandwich, crab cake sandwich, spicy salad, and some empanadas. All were excellent! I would say that the empanadas are a bit drier filling than what I make at home, but that is ok. Got some desserts too.

Really love that there is a vegan place in the Reading Terminal Market - Edit
Update: I have since visited and had both a philly cheesesteak and italian, they were both phenomenal so the reuben was the only slightly disappointing thing I had here -- otherwise amazing food and fresh
Read moreI really love that this place exists, it is a spot I know I will get vegan from in a place that is otherwise littered with animal product and carcasses. The guy was really nice there, the prices are reasonable, and they have quite a lot of options which is really nice. I got a Reuben which was decent but the meat was a little bready and airy, I imagine it was seitan based but even for seitan it seemed too bready to me. All that aside, the taste was pretty good, and while there was some strange spice I couldn't pin down in the flavor profile it wasn't offputting. I will have to try some other sandwiches there, the Reuben might not have been the best one to start with, so I am keeping this at 4 stars and will refine from there.

Vegan inside Reading Terminal Market - Edit
I appreciated finding an all-vegan deli inside Reading Terminal Market which was across the street from the convention center. I had the vegan cheesesteak and their house made protein and the cheese was really good!
