Veggie cafe opened in May 2014. Offers all-vegan burgers, doner kebab, falafel, German currywurst, house-made sauces, potato wedges, hot and cold drinks, waffles, muffins, and cupcakes. The interior is simple and modern. SEPT 2015 REPORTED SHUT WEBSITE NOT WORKING. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-8:00pm, Sat 11:00am-6:00pm.

The food is delicious (I had some doner kebab and fries - OMG, try the fries!) and the interior is mood-lifting! I also loved that they sold vegan candles and other cool stuff!

By far the best vegan café in Bochum - Edit
Perfectly located right across the street from the university, Lucy's Café provides everyone with luscious vegan comfort food: "Not" Dogs, Burgers, Döner, but also pastries.
Prices are decent and the owner is always in for a nice chat.

I've been there now about 3-4 times. And I will be there for another thousand times.
The Meals are delicous, I've tried about the whole sortiment now. Especially the vegan feta on the gyros is great and is something you don't get everywhere. The place ist set up pretty nice and all the people working there are very nice.
So don't wait. Go there. Whereever you come from. Just go there and get happy.

Awesome Food for Everyone! - Edit
My friend at the university recommended this new cafe knowing that I'm vegan. Although he isn't completely vegan he has eaten there several times and loves it. The staff was great and was able to help me because of my very poor German speaking skills. There is a nice variety of choices on the menu. The food was tasty with good proportions and presented well. The seating area was very clean and bright.
