Absolute Gem!

First and foremost the decor and atmosphere of this shop is wonderful. It’s definitely one of those cafes that you could hang out in for hours! The vegan chocolate chip muffin was absolutely delicious and it was exciting to see how many vegan options were in the bakery case. The coffee is also very good and having the option of oat, almond and coconut milk was nice!

Pros: Atmosphere, Baked goods, Great coffee

Love the vibe.

The atmosphere and eclectic decor make this place something special. I love the artwork, jewelry and pottery. It's so cozy, the type of place you could spend the entire day, relaxing and hanging out with friends. They have vegan milks and tons of vegan pastries.

I love that the coffee is organic, but agree with other reviewers that the drinks are not the best. They are watery and not very creamy, especially for a latte. I even tried the cold brew with oat milk and it just seemed watered down. The four star rating is based on all the other things: food, atmosphere, organic ingredients, etc.

Many vegan pastries!

Just stopped in and more than half the pastries in the case were vegan and they write out all the ingredients. Seems like the selection changes since it’s all written on the glass in removable marker.

We enjoyed both the blueberry and chocolate chip muffins, the chocolate chunks were amazing. I also tried cascara tea for the first time.

Pros: mamy vegan options, vibe, bathrooms

It's Okay

Staff was nice. Location is good but seems like you might struggle to find parking when it's busy. It was pretty quiet when I visited but the main lot was almost totally full, it looks like there is office space in the building. It's in an old mill building which is a great adaptive reuse of the space and perfect if you're looking for lots to do. You can go here for a treat and caffiene, then in the same building there looks like a few places to shop, visit the comedy theatre, and the bar as well. The space here is great. Local artisan stuff for sale like jewelry and pottery. Cozy lowly lit nooks in the coffee shop itself and seating out in the corridor where it's quiet. Both great for conversing with friends or getting work done. I didn't try any pastries but I did get a chai with oat milk, which I'd read rave reviews about on Google- it's okay but kind of watery. Honestly I'd give it a 1 or 2 on the drink alone, I don't think I'd return for it. But since I haven't tried the pastries yet, I don't drink coffee so I can't speak to how it is, and I do like the vibe, I don't want to give it less than 3. Personally I prefer Purr Cup in Raleigh since it's all vegan, the chai is good, great treats, and you get to meet kitties and support the cat rescue. But if you're with non-vegans and in this area, this will scratch the itch and it does have some great cozy vibes to hang out or work.

Chill and Creative Vibe, Yummy Treats

I fell in love as soon as I walked in! The artwork, furniture, and decor just made my inner hippy happy. There’s lots of seating and several other businesses that share the same free parking lot. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the products. Each of the baked goods I’ve had were scrumptious: chocolate muffins, strawberry matcha muffins, oatmeal cookie sandwich with cashew cream middle... delicious and made fresh daily. The majority (maybe all, IDK) of their baked goods are vegan. They have 3 plant based milks to choose from. They serve beer and wine and sell other stuff too: berry mead, artwork, natural skincare products, shirts, jewelry. There’s a lot to take in while you sip your coffee. The price is nice too and not overpriced like a lot of other coffee shops. I got a gourmet coffee drink using oat milk (no up-charge) with two muffins for under $13

Pros: Lots of vegan baked goods , Great prices , Good parking- most places in this street don’t

Good pastries, lousy coffee

Great vegan pastries freshly made. The coffee tastes like water. It would be nice if they were all vegan.

Pros: Great pastries, Nice Vibe

Cons: Coffee is terrible
