The best!!

When I used to be in the area frequently I would go here often! I hadn’t been in years until Sunday and I was happy to find nothing has changed, their vegan options are still so so good.

I’m a big pho fan and their veggie pho is probably one of the best I’ve ever had, the flavor is incredible! Also any dish with their red curry basil sauce is a must have, I’ve never been able to find a comparable dish at any other Vietnamese place. We had the tofu with thick rice noodles and tofu with eggplant, as well as the ginger and garlic broccoli, 10/10 for everything.

Staff is also super friendly, it’s worth going out of your way for!!

Pros: Many vegan options , Great service , Unique flavors

Vegetarian menu

Lucky Corner has a vegetarian menu, and most of those dishes can be prepared vegan by request. Overall, I’ve enjoyed most of the food here. However, on my most recent visit the waitress didn’t write down our orders and accidentally brought meat spring rolls 😩. Luckily we noticed right away before anyone tried it, and they corrected the order.

Pros: Vegetarian menu

Difference in experiences

First time I came here, the food and service was really good. Today’s visit…not so much. My pho vegetables were over cooked and mushy, yet the broth wasn’t hot enough to wilt the basil or sprouts. That tells me my soup was sitting for quite a while before it was even served. It was a disappointing lunch, as I had planned to come here specifically on a holiday off work. Bummer! Maybe it was just an off day, but I likely won’t be making a special trip again.

Highly recommend. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Frederick, Maryland.

Many vegan options. They understand what vegan food is. Just ask to make sure something is prepared vegan. Great vegan Pho soup! Ask for the vegetable broth.

Great vegan options!

This restaurant has a vegetarian section to its menu and lots of veg options. The best part is they have vegan options for every single one of the vegetarian corner options, which is awesome! However, I get the sense that you can't just ask for any dish to be made vegan, so just be aware of that. Vietnamese food uses a lot of fish sauces, so stick with the vegetarian corner and easy dishes like pho, and you'll be fine.

The veg corner has so many delicious choices, I just drool thinking about them. There is delicious rich sauce for all of them, too. I don't usually like eating deep fried tofu, but here, they use large thick pieces, so it's not as rubbery as other places. While I'd still prefer just soft tofu, this is as good as it gets if you're eating deep fried tofu for Asian dishes.

The noodles are great, so if you like rice noodles, you'll be very happy here. The veggies are scrumptious, and I love there are dishes with just veggies - three of them, featuring spinach, bok choy and broccoli. The flavors are so fresh and delicious, I always want to order more. Eating rice noodles and rice with the veggie dishes though, I fill up relatively quickly.

Tofu hot pot, green beans with tofu, a tofu with chili and lemon grass flavors. So many options for main dishes here, I love it. There's even a fried rice dish in the veg section. Appetizers include veggie summer rolls or spring rolls. They do not have brown rice, typical for more traditional Asian restaurants.

I'm hungry again and will be back soon, I hope!

Pros: Menu has a Vegetarian section, All veg dishes can be vegan in the Vegetarian Corn, Can make many items gluten-free

Cons: Not 100% veg, Not all dishes can be vegan if outside Veg section
