Luces Living in a yoga studio - Edit

This place was quite a trek from where we were staying unfortunately, but that didn’t stop me going there for about four meals while I was in Balanga. The menu is pretty vast - although the pizzas were not available when we were there - and I tried a number of varied dishes, from from the burger to the katsu, the waffles to the smoothie bowl, the maki to the rice paper rolls. The food ranges from good to excellent and we even took the rice paper rolls home and they kept well. They only have disposable cups so bring your own vessel if you want a coffee or a smoothie, or even just service water. The atmosphere is attractive and airy, nicely decorated, with outdoor sauces and plants. It is an upmarket yoga studio, so this is the vibe. The owner was pleasant and chatty and talked to me about the local vegan movement, as well as directing me to the correct address for Vaked. #Veganuary

Pros: Vegan - the only such restaurant in town , Good food, Pleasant staff and beautiful space

Cons: Cups are all disposable - make sure to BYO

Love it!!! - Edit

The tofu sisig is our fave!! We were a group so we got to try most of the food: Chicharon, Dumpling soup, Burger, Turon, Smoothie Bowl, Shawarma, Pizza, and Mie Goreng —and it was yummy!! ✌🏼 They also have yoga classes available and a cute mindful market.
