Been going here for years, always great! - Edit
I’ve been going here for years and it is always a favorite of mine. I always order either the veggie pho, or the lemongrass stir fry. I wish I could try the other vegan options, but I am allergic to peanuts. Otherwise, this is a great place to hit up if you’re downtown! They always serve your food SUPER fast. Usually within 5 minutes of sitting down (depending on how busy it is ofc).

varied veg options - Edit
I appreciate that pretty much everything on the menu has a vegan version. Love having options!!! I do wish there was a crispy tofu menu option, but the broth of the tomyum pho was incredible (as a fan of lemon grass).

Decent, but not wowed - Edit
Simple options, and decent but fairly average. I had the tofu salad rice bowl and a boo'd up cocktail. I would hesitate to call a must go, but lovely to go with groups to accommodate various tastes.

Great food HUGE portions - Edit
Really great vegan options - we got tofu spring rolls, papaya salad (made vegan w/out shrimp), crispy tofu rolls, and Tom yum tofu pho. The papaya salad and pho were ENORMOUS and we had no hope of finishing either, especially since we each got our own bowl of pho. But it was all delicious and the pho was some of the best I've had out here in the pnw.

Lackluster options - Edit
This place is very meh. The pho chay is very bland and lacks depth. Their rice bowl also left much to be desired. The service is also hit or miss. If you love Vietnamese food there are much much better options than this place. Way over hyped.

Fast food unfriendly - Edit
So on the day that we came here we walked up to the front server station. We didn't know what to order so we said we would just take a look at the menu and sit at the bar. She seemed annoyed at everything. Annoyed at explaining to us how the process worked, and mind you there was no one behind us when we came in. You have to get your own utensils and water, you can order on your phone via toast tab or go up to the front.
Read moreMenu does not say which items are vegan and there is fish sauce vs soy sauce that you need to watch out for even on tofu items.
There is no one to explain the menu, I end up getting a lot of fried things that I would probably prefer not to. But the food was delicious. The Prosecco that I got was wonderful as well and at only nine dollars, a bargain.
I would return here but it is definitely not super vegan friendly .

Vegan pho - Edit
The vegan pho broth was flavorful. The ingredients are not completely traditional because it is a fusion restaurant, but overall very tasty pho. Had the veggie rolls with chili sauce. Also ordered the tofu banh mi, and it too was delicious . The bread is on the softer side which is nice.

I go here for happy hour with a non-vegan friend. Love the atmosphere. I do feel rushed, but then We have more time for vegan ice cream at salt&straw afterward😉

You Do Win Friends with Tofu Salad! - Edit
I ordered the veggie crispy rolls and the tofu salad. The crispy rolls were overpriced and underwhelming. Contrary to the small size of the crispy rolls, the tofu salad only cost a dollar more for a much larger serving. I appreciated the generous amount of tofu.

Best pho I’ve tried up to date - Edit
Amazing pho, the menu is super simple, and the outside seating is beautiful. I’d recommend this place especially if you’re staying at nearby hotels for dinner as it was walking distance which a definite plus.

Fast service. Great food. Good portions. There is usually a line but it worth the wait. I'd go back to try the other dishes! Not that many tho, but they all look amazing!

Popular spot - Edit
This place has some tasty vegan options. It is very popular, however, and usually has a long line during peak meal hours. If you have the time, it’s worth the wait.

Vegan-friendly deliciousness! - Edit
Had dinner here with omni friends and everyone loved their meal. I had the vermicelli bowl with tofu and veggie crispy rolls. Vermicelli bowl comes standard with a fish-sauce dressing but you can ask for a soy-based one instead. Small but good beer selection, too. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Portland.
