Simple healthy lunch - Edit
First of all I am grateful for this place as there seems to be no other vegan option in town as of April 2026. The place is very simple, the food is too but this is part of its philosophy and it reminds us the humbleness behind the vegan diet too. I had the menu with salad, wild rice, seitan and corn paste - all was good and I wouldn’t say blend, I would say again simple. And it feels good to have such kind of vegan food too. Only challenge is indeed if you come late afternoon, not all options are available and they close at 5pm leaving us with no option for dinner😄

The food wasn’t the most exciting, but it was filling and very cheap - only 11 soles for the menu del día. Appreciate that it’s all vegan so you don’t have to enquire about which dishes you can or can’t have.
Read moreI had ceviche for starter which was really good, and “quinoa a la jardinera” for main which was decent but a little bland. Maybe I should have ordered something else.
The staff were very busy/frantic and they forgot about my partner’s main so there was a bit of a wait, but we weren’t in a hurry so didn’t mind.
Pros: 100% vegan, cheap, close to the main square

Came at 14, only options left were mix salad and a dish of lentil stew, brown rice and a slice of soy or seitan "meat".

It was pretty tasty, in a home made kind of way, and the "meat" wasn't really meaty but still had a nice texture and quite flavor.
All of it was 11 soles
Was also really impressed and curious to see the place *full* of adult locals even though the Peruvian kitchen is clearly not vegan friendly.

We went here for lunch and breakfast. Lunch was amazing, probably one of our favourite restaurants we tried in Peru. Cheap almuerzos, 11 soles per person. The breakfast we had there was very disappointing, although we did get there late so we had to have avacado and bread, but forn 5.5 soles per person it wasn't too bad.

We have enjoyed our dinner at Loving Hut very much as the food was delicious, the service staff very nice and the prices incredibly low. I really appreciate their service for the animals and their love they show towards making the earth a better place. I highly recommend to support this place.

Food was very very bland and cold when served. The place itself was really grim, it felt very soulless and depressing and the toilets were not very hygienic. I would not recommend.

Only 10 soles for lunch menus but not great at all... The food was cold, came all at once and was lacking flavour as you could tell it had been prepared in bulk. The vibe of the restaurant is also very depressing and the place gloomy.

Great place in Trujillo right next to the Plaza del Armas. It is a completely vegan restaurant with a daily lunch menu which consists of three options for a starter and four options for a main dish. Everything on the menu is classic Peruvian food which makes this restaurant a great place to enjoy Peruvian food in a veganized version. Also, the menu (including a starter, a main dish and a drink) only costs 10 Soles.

Really like the food hear, their peruvian dishes tastes just like the traditional one!!! The service itself isn't really good but the food SO makes up for it!!! So recommend!!!

Both first and main meal has a three options. 10 soles menu. Only one veggie restaurant opened during the sunday. Even other Loving Hut was closed. If you are too hungry take a care, you have to wait a little longer while
