Amazing selection - Edit
Visited at Saturday lunchtime and had the place to ourselves. Extensive menu, took ages to decide what to order because everything sounded great. Went for a chow mein, “ham” sushi and steamed dumplings. Decent portions and finished every last bite. Would have liked to return but unfortunately ran out of time.

Vegan restaurant - Edit
The best part is - everything on the menu is Vegan. It’s pretty cool to order whatever you want and not to look for the 🌱 to know it’s a vegan dish or can be made vegan. Other than that, quality of food is great, service always with a smile.

Solid vegan meal in Reykjavik - Edit
I’ve been to a few Loving Huts around the world, some better than others, and this one was a great option in a country with limited fully vegan restaurants. I had the fried rice and it was good! Big menu, fair prices, no frills stop before exploring the incredible country

Comfort Food - Edit
It was such a relief to enjoy a warm, hearty meal after several days of traveling, surviving on sandwiches, cold snacks, and treats while exploring Iceland. The variety here is impressive, and the prices are quite reasonable for Iceland. A must-visit when in Reykjavik!

I've been a few times and the food has always been good. They offer both Asian and western style dishes. The red curry is my favourite.

In need of veggies - Edit
I wanted a proper meal with veggies and was verry happy to find this place so close to our accomodation. It was delicious food and lots of choices. I'm allergic to nuts, but it was no problem to remove them from the dishes.

Amazing - Edit
Rarely have I experienced a place so deserving of being the highest rated resturant in a city. We ordered multiple starters and two main dishes to share between three (very) hungry adults, and everything they served us was amazing.
Read moreThe place had a bit of a junk food vibe, but that thought was instantly dismissed when we tasted the food.
A vegan paradise.
Pros: The food, The variety of options
Cons: Staff weren't that proficient in english, Resturant had a bit of a junk food vibe

Excellent Vegan Food! - Edit
Came here my first night in Reykjavik. The menu has a lot of options, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious! The menu lists ingredients in both Icelandic and English. They have a good variety of veggie and fake meat options, and should have something for everyone. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu!

Huge variety, great food, friendly staff - Edit
First: If you're staying anywhere near the center of Reykjavik, then Loving Hut is a short walk *away* from the center of things, not nearly as touristy or built up. It's not a fancy store, but they offer a wide variety of delicious food. The three of us got there about 20 minutes before the official closing time, and we were nervous that they wouldn't serve us -- but they didn't think anything of it, and not only served us, but a family that arrived after we did. The people running the store clearly care about people as much as food. Oh, and the food was great! Lots of Asian dishes that we eagerly and happily devoured, for not a terribly high price.

Doesn’t look like a lot, but is fantastic! - Edit
We were a bit surprised by the more “diner”/“take-away” vibe but don’t be put off - the food they serve us excellent and they are very passionate about veganism. This food is so amazing, definitely check out this place!!

Asian Fusion Fast Food - Edit
Food was served very speedily and tasty and big portion, a bit too salty for me though. This place seems to be slightly different, taste wise, than other loving hut places in the world where I visited. I am going to honest yet trying not to be overocriticizing. After all, I understand it’s not easy to import all ingredients to Iceland. But a glimpse into a quick Asian taste does the job. My local friends here seem really pleased with the taste and choice that they could have in the city!

Got a take away dinner late in the evening when just arrived in the city. The sandwich with vegan beef is huge and very tasty. The fried appetizers were a bit heavy, yet tasty.

First visit to this chain and won’t be the last - although probably closer to home next time! Generous portions, perfect tofu 👌🏻 Really enjoyed my pad thai with obviously fresh vegs. Unfortunately had no room for dessert.

Such a gem find!! - Edit
Friendly staff, quick service and the yummiest food!! We ate the side of crispy fried tofu so fast I forgot to take a picture! We had the Pho special, a stunningly delicious soup with strips of tofu, seitan, noodles and veg—caution: the accompanying chilli paste is really spicy! And we had the seitan sandwich deal with a drink and chips. The seitan and sauce are really tasty! #Veganuary
