Typical Loving Hut food - Edit
Generally, we avoid loving huts on our travels because we avoid the Supreme Master cult- but we stopped in for a quick lunch. They have a buffet or you can order Individual dishes off the menu. The food is OK, nothing to write home about. We enjoyed the beef and broccoli and fried rice.

Excellent place for a vegan in the city, buffet menu with lots of choices at a really good price. They offer a frozen version of some of their products for you to make at home too. This time I found the a la carta menu and I got a custom made raw salad: lettuce, cilantro, tomato, zucchini and onions. Finding a good big salad it’s not easy in Panama so I was very happy, also great stuff, happy, playful and courteous!

Loving hut is a great place if you're trying to eat on a budget as a vegan in Panama City. The place does look like a hospital ngl, but it's one of the cheapest meals you'll find in the city. The cafeteria menu is the same everyday, but there's an actual menu if you ask for it.

When i have a low budget sometimes this is my option to go. In comparison to some restaurants that are expensive and offers small portions i think this restaurant it's acceptable because have good portion of foods at a good price ($1). Dependant of your choice it's healthy food at good price and buffet/take-out, you can choose what you want. The place it's not fancy but the location it's centrical, but the problem they have it's that have few parking options it's a small parking. But finally the food it's good and it's best option when i have low budget.

Different options of carbs, protein and vegetables to choose from the buffet, each for 1$. Special options like tamales for 2$. The restaurant has the atmosphere of a cheap canteen and the staff was not very motivated when we were there.

Safe Haven In Panama - Edit
Loving Huts are a sure bet no matter where you are in the world and Panama City, Panama is no exception. My wife saw this location last March but it wasn't in our schedule to eat there during our short stay and now that we're here for a month, we will be regulars. You choose your selections from the food line that has some regular items along with specials that give it variety and everything is fresh with individual flavors.
Read moreEach of us got different items to share so we could sample almost everything. Two plates is a feast and costs less than ten dollars for everything. The interior is plain, quiet and centrally located near the financial district.

Excellent Vegan Food and Prices - Edit
This location serves much tastier food than the Loving Huts that we have enjoyed in the United States. Just like all Loving Huts, there is not much ambience in the dining room, but the food is delicious, staff is friendly and the portions are huge. My husband and I each had huge plates of a variety of dishes for under $10 total for both of us.

This was the first vegan eatery we visited in Panama during our stay and we were so happy to find a place offering vegan food with an understanding of coeliac / gluten free also. Once we told the lady what I could not eat, she was so helpful and piled my plate high with delicious foods! Simple style and offerings, popular going by how busy it was, lovely friendly staff.

We came to Panama City, and just kept on going back to Loving Hut again and again. It is a very quick train ride from Albrook Mall. The restaurant is right near the University.
Read moreTheir buffet is probably the main attraction. $1 dollar per selection and 1.25 for special items. 3 portions pretty much fills up the plate. Their sweet soy chicken and seitan beef were pretty good. Their fried vegetables were good (a little oily, but of course, and best when fresh).
Their deserts were surprisingly good. Their soy cheesecake was better than most vegan cheesecakes I had. However, their tiramisu was amazing!!! It was in a cup, but WOW!
I usually got a second plate. The tastiness and the prices couldn’t be beat.
Also they seem to understand English, but pointing and nodding is very easy.
There is air conditioning, but it is not a fancy place. The place is nice, comfortable, and has decent furniture. Sometimes the food is a bit oily or over cooked, but no deal breakers.
However, I would say it is a must go for a quick cheap bite.

The food overall was quite good and reasonably prices. One item-string beans-were overly salty. Ambiance is certainly not special but it is clean and service was decent. I would go back.
