CLOSED: Loving Hut - Honest Vegan

This restaurant is closed a few weeks ago (late July).

This Loving Hut is way too expensive and the serving sizes are tiny. My husband and I had a sandwich, a burger with fries a waffle and vegan ice-cream and I think I could have eaten all of it and maybe been full but since I only had half-- the burger and sandwich are about 1/3 of a meal in size. the ingredients were good, but there weren't enough of them. i can go to a non-vegan restaurant in the same neighborhood and get something made vegan it will be twice the food and cost the same or less. I just don't understand the point of this place! Also the food wasn't particularly tasty, sort of bland and I think the waffle was a warmed up frozen one! Also the vegan ice cream wasn't a brand I like in the US, either. It is nice inside, though.

This Loving Hut is indeed more expensive than the others - 9000-14000 for a main - but a lot of effort is put into the food and the delicious meals contain an impressive variety of veggies. It's located just off the main Itaewon drag in the alley just North of ABC Mart, but you can't see it from the main street. Veggie pastas are relatively easy to come by in Seoul, but good veggie burgers are seldom found and much appreciated. The brother and sister team that run this loving hut do a great job.

This Loving Hut mainly sells Italian dishes and is more expensive than the other Loving Huts. Take exit number one from Itaewon Station, turn right at the small side street near ABC Mart. The restaurant is on the second floor.
