Friendly Chinese Restaurant

Had a lovely time visiting this restaurant, although not obviously branded as part of the ‘living hut’ chain as suggested by the Happy Cow listing. Using the chinese address listed delivered us directly to the door, close to the beautiful 北山park.

The menu was entirely in Chinese, no photos, and the staff didn’t speak any English. However, they were very friendly and helped us decide what to order despite our broken chinese.

We ended up having some soy mince and celery dumplings (饺子）as well as aubergine with fried tofu, and a nice faux ham dish. Everything was vegan and delicious!

The prices were very reasonable - 68kuai total for three big plates, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Would definitely recommend!
