cheap food - Edit
Visited in jan 2016, loved the food and prices however our taxi driver struggled to find the place and we almost didn't make it before close. Appears to be a hard to find location according to other reviews.
Pros: cheap, good food
Cons: very hard to find, staff weren't that friendly or engaging

Salty! mock meats - Edit
I was very disappointed after all the raving reviews. I had the mie goreng, didn't see mock meat in the menu picture but when it came it had a lot. Very salty fake bacon, it was hard to choke down, I really don't like mock meats.
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Really bad taste, very salty, mock meat

food is authentically Indonesian - organic and cheap! - Edit
The aircon was being serviced when we came in - so it was a bit warm. The Assam chilli fishy tasted really weird. I particularly enjoyed my Mi Pangsit/Jamur as its not spicy. For organic rice and vegetables, this was a fantastic place for the price. Good for casual dining.

Good food that is difficult to find - Edit
Denpasar's Loving Hut is similar to other Indonesia's Loving Huts: it's clean, has an extensive menu, and the food is delicious. It's nice that they also give you an opportunity to try veganized versions of traditional Indonesian dishes. The staff was friendly and helped us by calling a taxi.
The only con is restaurant's location. It was very hard to find it, and we succeeded only after asking 5 or 6 local people (most of them gave contradicting directions even though we showed them the exact address that we printed on paper) and walking in circles for half an hour or more. The problem was that the restaurant is not close to the main street but hidden inside a complex of buildings.
Pros: cheap, delicious , clean
Cons: location

Notes for those arriving by private car - Edit
Probably the most useful thing we can advise in our review is how to get there. If you're coming by your own private vehicle, please note that Jln Surapati is a very busy street. You have to make sure you're in the correct portion of the street--they have an island in the middle so if you're destination is on one side, you have to be on that side of the island, else you'll find yourself traveling the whole length of the long road till you can make a U turn.
That said--the food is not as good as other LH's I've been to. They had an item which was called omelot--more like a burrito, but not bad at all. Noodles were all right. Potato wedges (side dish) were a paltry few.
Pros: good omelot, an original dish in Bali
Cons: difficult to get to by private car

Clean but poor service - Edit
This is one of the cleanest places you will find in Bali but it is let down by incompetent waitresses and their poor service. I have been 3 times - the first time the food was great, the service average. The other 2 times, the food was poor and service was incredibly frustrating. If you get there on a good day, it will be fine but expect to have to do just about anything to get the lazy waitresses attention!
Pros: Tasty food
Cons: Terrible service, Difficult to find, Food not consistently good

Engaged ... I love that. - Edit
What I like the most in Loving Hut is the fact they are engaged. The put non-stop video explaining why its needed to become vegan, they put pictures of vegan celibrity on the wall, the staff have t-shirt with a slogan too... etc.. The food is good... the choice is big and the price very resonable. Nice adress.

organic - Edit
Woow, ga nyangka kalau Loving Hut sudah organik,
aku kita dulunya cuma sekedar vegan.

It was average - Edit
I was hoping for better. They staff were friendly. But the food was overly deep fried and had that "fake" mock meat chinese taste to it. The setting is nothing special also. Not a place that I would visit again.
Pros: Vegan, Friendly staff
Cons: Overly deep fried, setting in large building complex

m love 22 Feb 2013 - when I visited Loving Hut Denpasar, I didn't find any mock meats there and even they serve any kind of organic salads. Yes, some are deep fried, those are for the beginner vegans who are in transition. I hope Loving Hut would be able to create more menu of raw organic salad and more people become vegan.

delicious and full of love - Edit
I have never dreamed I could find such delicious vegan foods. I thought vegan foods were only raw vegetable with plain and colorless stuffs.
Young people should go there instead of having beef steak or fried chicken.
Let save the planet with avoiding meat, fish, egg and milk products!
