Al vaak over gelezen en nu eindelijk de kans om bij Loving Hut te eten. Zo'n naam verbind ik op de één of andere manier aan een fancy, veel te dure, hipster joint in het centrum maar niets van dat alles. Gewoon een sfeervol plekje in Amsterdam-West met kussentjes op de banken een sfeerlichtje op tafel, borden van de action en.... ja boeien hoe was het eten?
Read moreDe jongeman vertelde ons dat ze sinds deze week een nieuwe kaart hadden, schrik om ons hart. Maar wat een keuze, kregen spontaan stress. We kozen vooraf voor zeewiersalade en kokossoep allebei simpel maar zo smaakvol.
Daarna 'Pekingeend' van Seitan met ananas en gebakken Mie. De Nep-zwemvogel had een heerlijke krokante korst en de groenten lekker pittig gekruid. Maar toen het nagerecht. Mijn vrouw had de meest heerlijke cheesecake die we ooit geproefd hebben en een bolletje onovertroffen chocolade ijs en ik een abrikozenflap, amandelhapje en ook dat heerlijke ijs.
O mijn goden, vegan hemel voor een snackbar prijs.

There is a lot of variety! I had the peking duck which was really good, as well as the tofu satay! The brownie was a bit crumbly. Overall recommended if you’re in the area.

This is a small bit super branch of the Loving Hut brand of restaurants which my family and I enjoyed greatly. We had a range of dishes from dumplings (gyozas really) to burgers and vegan Chinese dishes. All were really tasty and cooked fresh. It's more of a cafe vibe and not open beyond 8, but still hit the spot. Thanks to the lovely lady behind the till who was really friendly and made us feel very welcome.

So many delicious dishes to choose from! The restaurant feels very homey due to their decoration. You can also buy some ‘grocery’ items that are next to the counter. Would definitely recommend.

Our favourite vegan eatery! - Edit
I have been coming regularly to this great family-run vegan eatery with my family for years. The food is always delicious, the service always friendly. We usually get the crispy nuggets, spicy chacha and sweet potato fries or edamame. Then the really delicious noodle soup with dumplings, nasi with satay and chocalade mousse or pie for dessert. But the tofu with green peppers and the vegan peking duck are also among my favourites. As far as we are concerned, it is the best vegan eatery we know and it is also very affordable, international and family-friendly. We will be eating here many times and I highly recommend it!

A sweet little place with very friendly hosts serving adapted asian dishes. The noodle soup was a welcome surprise with depth of flavour and spice from the stock. Could have done with a few more vegetables and 'trimmings' but overall a great unfussy and comforting option

Definitely will be visiting again! The food was amazing! I loved that the place was a bit smaller, you could see the cook at work and it was clear to me this place is passionate about food. A lot of variety on the menu as well and quite cheap too! Lovely patient/relaxed staff which created a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
