CLOSED: Loving Heart Vegetarian Food

The whole mall will be closed down soon.

This restaurant is out of the way for the Kowloon area but accessible via MTR station East Tsim Sha Tsui. Look for exits that will bring you close to the Metropolis Mall. The mall is across the street from the station but there is a covered and elevated walkway.

As noted above, the shop is in the mall's food court area (not great ambiance for a nice sit-down meal). Loving Heart is located in the corner by the windows. It can be tricky to find.

Limited food menu but the food on offer is very inexpensive and the dumplings are supreme!

I've been to this place twice now, and the great food, low price and friendly staff make me wish I lived closer to it.

Located on the first floor of a Food Mall which is otherwise 100% meaty. A food counter - not a restaurant. Several hundred seats available at shared tables.

The "8th Floor" reference is misleading - it is the lucky number of the Chinese - we have 20 story building in Hong Kong with "88th" floors!

Lovely Suma Ching Hai people selling very simple & very cheap bowls of noodles, set meals & superb stuffed steamed dumplings.

It may only be here until sometime in 2012 as they seem to believe that "the end is nigh" - so enjoy it whilst you have the chance!

The equivalent of US$ 3 or 4 gets you a satisfying & tasty meal.

Not much English spoken so point & hold up your fingers to order.
