Good food, terrible service - Edit
Went several time, the food is great (really). The service is terrible though. If you’re (really really) patient it’s ok, otherwise, go to the next address.

The place is quite dark, but it’s a nice clean and fancy feeling place. The portion sizes are fair and the menu is extensive. Definitely a place to try. Decent price.

Hate to leave a bad review but... - Edit
Our experience was all over the place. The staff were very kind and lovely, but there were a few issues. The tofu sticks were so spicy they were almost unedible (didn't say spicy on the menu) and we waited around 15mins for one of our dishes only to be told when we finally asked that it wasn't available. The fish noodle dish was nice, and absolutely loved the oreo milkshake. Would probably go back just for that.

crap breakfast great dinner - Edit
The service is quite slow and the atmosphere is quiet and dark. The staff are lovely ❤️ the food is expensive and the smoothie bowls were watery with no toppings. Wouldn't come back for breakfast. But we had the GF spinach crepe and it was off the hook amazinggggg

Totally vegan, no probs there. with a really good selection, including seitan, beyond the basic tofu.

The food IS good, and generous. The Khana set, which I had, like all these meals, a bit different to any other. Good.
P'raps we'll be back for a vegan shake - super hard to find in KTM.
Pros: lots of vegan options, on a quieter street, generous tasty meal
Cons: lacks a little atmosphere..., I'd love an ale?

great food - Edit
The food was really good in terms of flavors, the sauces and the texture of the tofu were amazing. The sticky mushroom was a bit dry but then you taste the sauce and you forget about it. The restaurant itself is nice, lovely staff that come and have a chat if they have time and all the people visiting are inspiring too!

Good vegan food but out of momos! - Edit
This restaurant uses quite a lot of seitan and tofu. We had ginger fish (made with tofu and seaweed) and deep fried seitan. Both were good but would have been better with some vegetables. Unfortunately, they didn't have any momos when we were there, which was a shame since I was trying to fill up on momos before flying home!

The only 100% vegan restaurant in Kathmandu. Has a range of meals including great breakfast options (muesli and fruit with soy milk, porridge, burrito, tofu omelette, tofu scramble and pancakes with chocolate and banana. Inexpensive, good portions and delicious! Staff speak good English and are very helpful. Modern and clean decor.

Just do it. Eat here. - Edit
The owner has been a vegan for 10plus years as well as all of her family members, and her passion for vegan food truly shines in the light of the food served here. By far some of the most flavorful seitan I’ve tasted and the mushroom kebabs are sublime. Also the brown rice meal is great as well. It’s hard to go anywhere in Thamel because the food is THAT AMAZING.

Fantastic!!! - Edit
An all vegan restaurant in the heart of Thamel. I came across this little gem on my first day in Nepal and popped in for a bite to eat. I had Seitan Chilli which was absolutely gorgeous, and a soya masala tea. I've not been able to get masala tea since going vegan so I was in heaven!! Thoroughly recommend this place to everyone.

NOT CLOSED.. DELICIOUS FOOD - Edit
Hello
Read moreThis place OPEN!! it moved to neighborhood Thamel.. Z Street, Kathmandu 44600.. Inside the lobby of Avaatar hotel.. Also you can order downstairs and enjoy the food on the 6th floor with great views. Please update because the food is the best in thamel!!
The food here YAMMIE! Momos are homemade and huge..try them also in soup., it's a satisfieng meal. The Khanna is delicious and divers, very good dhal, curry, mushrooms with tomato, mini potato fries, spinach, optional with brown rice. I love the fish gravy, although I missed some veggies, but you can order them seperately and then they'll prepare you sautéed vegetables. The mushrooms were little to greasy for my taste, but yea that's all fried stuff.. The taste was good though and, like all dishes, portions are good. It's maybe more expensive then a regular dhal bhat., but the quality is definitely lots better. Quality of the vegetables, they don't cook with too much salt, presentation is well taken care off and the people serving know what they serve. The lobby of the hotel isn't the cosiest place to sit, but you can order downstairs and then sit on the 6th floor with great views!!! Hiiighly recommended! Bon Appétit and to you health!

This is my absolute favorite vegan restaurant in Kathmandu! - Edit
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Kathmandu! This place makes me so happy that it exists because I can eat almost everything in this restaurant and everything is plant-based and healthy. The food here has a great test, one-of-a-kind. It is only plant material and extremely delicious! The chefs here really take care and preparation into what they are serving you. I went here for my birthday because it is the best!
