Unreal !! - Edit
The food was so good that I went for 3 days in a row, tried everyday some new stuff, ended up falling in love with the spinach pancakes and the seitan sizzlers ( the seitan is also made in-house)......to my utmost delight, yesterday i found out about their homemade ice tea...OMG, to die for.
Read moreAbsolutely beyond reproach, my eternal gratitude and thanks for the chefs / hosts that made by belly so happy. Bring cash - no POS for the moment. Bring also your best attitude - these very lovely people deserve only the best
PS if you still have the gall to inquire about wifi after seeing the unbelievable food in front of you...maybe go to a fancier restaurant with crappy food. This place has hart and soul.

Safe space in Kathmandu - Edit
After being a little bit lost in Kathmandu this place became my safe space right from the beginning. I even spent Nepalese new year festival here, enjoying a vegan all you can eat. The most lovely staff, delicious food and a perfect location made this place perfect for me. My favourite were the momos and the mushroom pakoras!
Read moreThey also offer Wifi and a water refill.
If i ever visit Nepal again, this will be also my base again. This was more than an eatery.

Good range of dishes. I had some noodles and vegetables (can't remember the name) the lady didn't understand English (I don't expect people to!) So there was a little miscommunication involving my order but the food was good. I would visit again

All vegan food by lovely owner - Edit
The wonderful owner Samu told us she has been vegan for the animals 20 years and opened a restaurant to spread information about veganism in Nepal - to show that you can eat delicious food without harming others. To do so, she learned to cook different foods by following videos on youtube - and now provides a vide and varied menu, with homemade cheese and tofu and seitan.
Read moreThe chili tofu deserves a special mention - yum!
Pros: Wide selection on menu, Wonderful owner, Totally vegan
Cons: Suggest the nepali meals for tastier experience

Delicious home made food - Edit
Authentic Nepali food made vegan, cooked by the owner herself (who is also serving the food, and makes sure all your needs are met). I loved the thukpa soup and fried momos, I'd go back to try some more if it wasn't for the lockdown... On the expensive side, but considering it's situated in the heart of Thamel, and that you probably won't be able to find authentic veganised Nepali food anywhere else - worth a visit! Definitely recommend!

Good food and nice staff - Edit
I went there with 2 non vegan friends. The restaurant is very easy to find in Thamel, close to Mandala street. We had a mushroom soup, momos, biryani and the heathly rice dish. Everything was good, although a bit salty. There was no sauce with the biryani which was quite dry. The staff was very nice to quickly make a kinda vegan raïta sauce and they also gave us soya yogurt. Seems that everything is prepared "à la minute". The wait was a bit long but maybe because we were hungry.

Food from the heart - Edit
Don't be put off by the somewhat sterile environment that looks like an afterthought to a hotel lobby. Two ladies cook the food they clearly love. Everything is made from scratch and the quality shows. The momo soup was just right, filling and warming. As for the chilli momos, they were a class act. Soft with a rich filling, generously coated in a flavourful and spicy sauce

Not good... - Edit
We came for breakfast, ordered soy masala tea which came with coconut milk and was awful.
Read moreBreakfast set had some sort of weird omelette with a funny texture.
Smoothie bowl was more of a funky juice bowl instead of smoothie, with warm granola at the bottom which wasn’t good at all.
I guess breakfast is not a good choice for this place.
