Superb vegan spot in the heart of Thamel

Excellent vegan dal baht and vegan momos to die for at this simple vegan restaurant in Kathmandu. Could happily eat here again and again and again.

Unreal !!

The food was so good that I went for 3 days in a row, tried everyday some new stuff, ended up falling in love with the spinach pancakes and the seitan sizzlers ( the seitan is also made in-house)......to my utmost delight, yesterday i found out about their homemade ice tea...OMG, to die for.

Absolutely beyond reproach, my eternal gratitude and thanks for the chefs / hosts that made by belly so happy. Bring cash - no POS for the moment. Bring also your best attitude - these very lovely people deserve only the best

PS if you still have the gall to inquire about wifi after seeing the unbelievable food in front of you...maybe go to a fancier restaurant with crappy food. This place has hart and soul.

Pros: everything cooked on spot (no frozen stuff) , in the city center ( very close to Ramada), very balanced menu

Cons: no POS

Safe space in Kathmandu

After being a little bit lost in Kathmandu this place became my safe space right from the beginning. I even spent Nepalese new year festival here, enjoying a vegan all you can eat. The most lovely staff, delicious food and a perfect location made this place perfect for me. My favourite were the momos and the mushroom pakoras!
They also offer Wifi and a water refill.

If i ever visit Nepal again, this will be also my base again. This was more than an eatery.

Good food

Good range of dishes. I had some noodles and vegetables (can't remember the name) the lady didn't understand English (I don't expect people to!) So there was a little miscommunication involving my order but the food was good. I would visit again

Pros: Completely vegan with gf options, Range of dishes on the menu

Delicious!

Fantastic all-vegan menu, and food cooked with love. We especially enjoyed the seitan - so crispy and chewy, with great flavour. Fried rice was great too.

The Oreo milkshake makes a great dessert too :)

We’ll definitely be going back!

All vegan food by lovely owner

The wonderful owner Samu told us she has been vegan for the animals 20 years and opened a restaurant to spread information about veganism in Nepal - to show that you can eat delicious food without harming others. To do so, she learned to cook different foods by following videos on youtube - and now provides a vide and varied menu, with homemade cheese and tofu and seitan.
The chili tofu deserves a special mention - yum!

Pros: Wide selection on menu, Wonderful owner, Totally vegan

Cons: Suggest the nepali meals for tastier experience

Favourite place in Kathmandu

We went here so many times in Kathmandu for breakfast and dinner.

The two ladies that cook and serve are really sweet.

There is a good mix of options, the seitan is really good here and the tofu omelette.

Also very reasonable prices.

Delicious home made food

Authentic Nepali food made vegan, cooked by the owner herself (who is also serving the food, and makes sure all your needs are met). I loved the thukpa soup and fried momos, I'd go back to try some more if it wasn't for the lockdown... On the expensive side, but considering it's situated in the heart of Thamel, and that you probably won't be able to find authentic veganised Nepali food anywhere else - worth a visit! Definitely recommend!

Pros: authentic Nepali food made vegan, friendly, attentive staff

Cons: quite pricey

Good food and nice staff

I went there with 2 non vegan friends. The restaurant is very easy to find in Thamel, close to Mandala street. We had a mushroom soup, momos, biryani and the heathly rice dish. Everything was good, although a bit salty. There was no sauce with the biryani which was quite dry. The staff was very nice to quickly make a kinda vegan raïta sauce and they also gave us soya yogurt. Seems that everything is prepared "à la minute". The wait was a bit long but maybe because we were hungry.

Pros: Good food, nice staff, Location

Cons: Service a bit long

Delicious

We are amazed with the Supreme Master’s quality control skills. We have eaten her restaurants across the globe and they are consistently tasty. The server was very sweet and kept suggesting that we pay later when we barely had enough cash on us.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly

Cons: The shakes were watery and too sweet

Food from the heart

Don't be put off by the somewhat sterile environment that looks like an afterthought to a hotel lobby. Two ladies cook the food they clearly love. Everything is made from scratch and the quality shows. The momo soup was just right, filling and warming. As for the chilli momos, they were a class act. Soft with a rich filling, generously coated in a flavourful and spicy sauce

Pros: Entirely vegan, Food made from scratch, Cheap

Great food and service

Simple, humble, clean setting. Amazing food, great service. Just what I was looking for.

Everything is freshly cooked to order and the lady taking the orders is so warm and quiet.

I ordered the momos, chilli tofu and the chow mein. Planning to go back tomorrow and order the same. Very reasonably priced too.

Lovely all vegan place in Kathmandu

We absolutely loved that cute restaurant!
All dishes were very tasty and staff was very cute and doing their best to serve us well. We had soups to start and the so called Noble rice (rice with a very creamy and rich sauce with veggies and tofu) and a veggie curry. One of the best restaurants in Kathmandu😄prices are totally fine!

Pros: All vegan, Friendly staff, Food is amazing

Not good...

We came for breakfast, ordered soy masala tea which came with coconut milk and was awful.
Breakfast set had some sort of weird omelette with a funny texture.
Smoothie bowl was more of a funky juice bowl instead of smoothie, with warm granola at the bottom which wasn’t good at all.

I guess breakfast is not a good choice for this place.
