We had the Tofu, and Mushroom Pakoda, very nice would recommend. Aswell as Chowmein (which was fine, but nothing spectacular) but the momo soup was incredible!! Would recommend:))

Weird atmosphere, disappointing experience - Edit
I went there twice because they have vegan ice cream. Both times it was not available and they told me to go back the next day (and it was not available again). I ordered an Oreo shake and i got a big glass of milk with probably two crushed Oreos into it. Weird atmosphere, the waiter was nice but seemed somehow uninterested, a lot of employees were hanging out there doing nothing and it felt a bit weird.

Love the new location - Edit
What a fantastic new location. Just a minute or so from the old but a world away I. Terms of space. It’s open and airy with a downstairs and an upstairs with comfy sofas and even a meetup space with a long table. There’s music. And the menu is also new and improved. And the owner is a legit animal rights activist, rescuer and is just lovely. Highly recommend.

So tasty! - Edit
Such a cute place just off the main road in Thamel with an assortment of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very affordable prices. Try their tofu scramble and vanilla ice cream - yum! And the staff are just the sweetest!

Vegan local options - Edit
Lots of interesting options at Locing Heart. There are a mix of western options and veganized nepali options. The food is delicious, the space is cosy, and the staff super friendly.

Great vegan restaurant - Edit
Visited 5 times now and would say it’s my 2nd favourite spot in Kathmandu. Had the Buddha bowl, tofu stairs, seitan sandheko and momo’s. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the Oreo milkshake as it was quite watery.

We had a meal tonight at this restaurant and it was delicious. We had the chilli seitan, bean sprout salad, fries and a dessert, and everything was lovely. There was also a donation box to help feed animals so you can tell the owner cares a lot😄would highly recommend this place!

100% vegan restaurant that serves local and continental, located in thamel, the place looks great, clean, has two floors so you can come celebrating in grups or work quitly on your laptop, book library, and lots of tasty food. The only place that makes vegan pizza! Highly recomended

I had a soy Oreo shake, seitan chowmein and mushroom pakora and everything was super tasty and not oily. Would definitely eat here again!
Read moreAte here again 😆 Had the tofu pakora and the chilly seitan (not spicy) both delicious and again not oily.
Also had the pancakes as well as the spinach wrap (filled with tofu scramble) the pancakes were good just a bit too sweet for my liking and unfortunately the spinach wrap was too oily but it was tasty (no photos sorry)

Amazing SEITAN ! - Edit
I hadn't eaten a well seasoned and well cooked seitan in a long time! I ordered the seitan sadeko and substituted the beaten rice with regular rice. It was soooo good, and the spiciness was on point (I asked for only a little bit of spice). Then I shared the vegan queen dessert with some friends, which is this beautiful ice cream bowl with fruit, syrup, nuts, and biscuits. So delicious!! Wish I had more time to try the rest of the menu ! Also tried the mushroom chilly, from a friend's plate and it was also amazing.

mediocre - Edit
great to find a completely vegan restaurant in nepal! owners are friendly people and the food is made freshly but unfortunately everything we ordered tasted mediocre at best. pizza tasted bland, the satay wasn’t really a satay and the burger was extremely dry.
