Beautiful Decor, Food Just Fine - Edit
Walking into this cafe I instantly loved the vibes, it was a cosy, colourful place filled with plants - what's not to love.
Read moreUnfortunately I didn't find the food and drink offerings all that good. The oat milk coffees tasted a bit odd and were quite weak. The pancakes were beautifully presented but were quite dense. And the beans on toast my partner had weren't very flavourful and the bread was soggy. A bit let down after reading such great reviews!
Still a nice venue to relax for breakfast though

Had an amazing breakfast all vegan - full vegan and fluffy pancakes with spiced apple and blackberries, banana and caramelised pecans. So impressed went back in afternoon for toasted fruit bun and Pain au chocolate - again all vegan.

More vegan options than non-vegan on this menu. I had the vegan breakfast and it was one of if not the best I’ve had- everything on the plate tasted amazing. I also had a piece of choc cherry cake which was very good value.

Anytime I’m in Liverpool, I always make sure to leave time to visit Lovelocks. The staff are super friendly and always accommodating. The food and drinks are always delicious.

Slow, disorganised and disappointing - Edit
Sign said take a seat and we will bring menus. Waited 20 mins. Nothing. Asked for menus. They said they’d come to table. Nothing. Staff disorganised. Poor service. Eventually we ordered at the counter. They’d run out of veggie sausages. Said we could have toast instead. It’s a £8 breakfast which ends up as beans on too much toast.

Other customers left as they were not served.
I won’t be coming back.

So cozy and homely to sit in. The staff are the loveliest and the prices are so cheap. They always have vegan cake and it's delicious! Beautiful coffee too. I highly recommend whatever special is on for the day (it's always vegan).

Characterful little cafe with lots of vegan options. Locally baked Bread and Bagels, Avocado, Butterbean Pate, soups and stews and a great selection of home baked vegan (and GF) cakes always available. Dairy milk alternatives. They also do a great roasted mushroom! Community vibes are strong here and a laid back atmosphere and the many plants and artworks make it a friendly place to park yourself for an hour or two. Highly recommend!

Great takeaway spot by central library - Edit
Yummy cake! Particularly love the chocolate and cherry. My brother and I have enjoyed the vegan ‘pulled pork’ sandwich and salad meal from here. Really very central, just ever so slightly off the main drag, so very easy to pop to.
