CLOSED: Love Peace & Sol Cafe

Visited Peace, Love, & Sol for lunch. The restaurant is in an old house, which is unique and charming. As a southern vegan who grew up on my Nana's soul food, PLS didn't live up to my expectations--we tried the largest platter that had 5 dishes. My favorite of the 5 was the quinoa lentil cake, the cornbread was also delicious and super moist. The other dishes (especially the mac & cheese) were pretty bland and drab.
Dessert is only served after 3pm, so we didn't get to try that. It sounded great!!

This is the most special meal we are in Denver. Highly recommended, GREAT food and amazing community feel. Please take their me to visit. So much of their fresh produce comes right from the garden outside!

I had lunch today at the Love Peace & Sol Cafe and so glad I did. The Cafe is within the venue "The Garden" (you'll find The Garden in the Stores and More section of Happy Cow). I note this as from the road, it's not easy to see that the Love Peace & Sol Cafe can be found inside The Garden's locale. While the burrito and taco options looked great, I opted for the biggest meal on the menu, that allowed me to sample a good bit of a number of dishes. Whether you're looking for something light or something heavier, you'll be able to find something delicious. Seating is communal, and I was able to have a great conversation with a couple people who came in looking to try some plant-based cuisine. The staff were very friendly and the music was great. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Denver!
