We ordered chickpea tuna melt sandwich, oyster mushroom grinder, loaded fries, buffalo cauliflower, fried oysters and peanut chocolate pie. Everything was so delicious! The owners were friendly and the restaurant has a great vibe. We’ll be sure to come back if we come to this area again. We also visited a nice used book store and local gallery based on the owner’s recommendations. We enjoyed them both. Nice people, nice town!

A classic that we are looking forward to returning to. The juices are delicious and the loaded fries a must, we enjoyed the ‘tuna’ melt and Italian sub as well. A warm and super friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Eager to try more yummy vegan food here!

We asked for recommendations and were told they are known for their omelets. My thought was 'I can attempt an omelet at home,' and opted for their signature fried oyster sandwich dubbed the Pedro. Our server, Pedro, of sandwich fame, was amazing. Pedro, the sandwich, was also amazing. The bacon was amazing. The chocolate peanut butter pie was amazing. Everything was amazing. The food that wasn't recommended was absolutely amazing. I can't imagine how great those omelets will be. I'll definitely try them the next time I go.

Read moreEdit to add: my spouse came with her non-vegan friend for breakfast that became lunch!! Seitan Reuben with sauerkraut, 1,000 island, Chao and ‘feta’ cheeezes on rye bread. AMAZING!! Friend got the steak and Cheeze grinder and I tried a piece…..again, amazing!! And crispy French fries. The staff are welcoming and so friendly. They spoke so positively of other Connecticut vegan establishments. Love It Vegan is a class act!!

So good, the best vegan food and friendliest staff. Everything vegan, many items can be prepared GF if needed. Big menu, terrific brunch/breakfast too. The grinders - steak n cheese and oyster mushroom - were perfect. Buffalo cauliflower is amazing. Desserts as well! Awesome atmosphere, great people!

I loved everything about this place! The New England comfort food was delicious, the atmosphere was comforting and the message was clear: vegan for the animals. I also appreciated that it was an LGBTQ+ friendly space.

They also host game nights on Fridays and support a local farm animal sanctuary in neighboring Litchfield.

The clam chowder is incredible, mushrooms as a substitute vs corn is such a great idea. The bacon bits on top are so crunchy and smokey they can pass for the real thing.
