LOVE LovaFare - Edit
They named it well. I'm having a love affair with Lovafare and their food and preparation. The owners are hands on, preparing all of the food and teas as ordered, so it may not be fast but it is OH SO good and definitely worth the wait. They also care about whether or not you LIKE the food and will check in with you after you've had a chance to try it--with genuine interest in how you feel about it. SO many great choices from which to choose that I always have a hard time deciding. Totally Gluten Free, Vegan and, I believe, nut free.
Pros: So many great options!, Great food AND sweet treats, Caring and dedicated owners/managers/staff
Cons: Too far from where I live!

The food was delicious to say the least. Great place to get your raw, nutritious veg on. One of my newly discovered favorites!

Amazing Hidden Jem - Edit
We looked for a good vegan place in Louisville, and that was hard to find. But this place had two good reviews so we thought we'd try. It is nestled in an alley in the Highlands (behind Wick's Pizza). The menu only had a couple things on it, but that made us happy because everything sounded good so we needed help narrowing it down anyway. We got two hot sandwiches (each had a bean burger) that came with a side of coleslaw. Everything was AMAZING! It was a little pricey ($12.99 per plate) but we were filled up so it was worth it. You can see the kitchen so you know how your food is being prepared. We met three different employees/owners and they were all super friendly. We liked the decor also. And the fact that they had recycling for the plates/cups instead of just throwing them away. All in all, we are so glad we found this place and plan to visit each time we come to Louisville.
Pros: Delicious food, Clean , Friendly staff
Cons: Pay to park

Delicious lovingly prepared vegan meal - Edit
I stopped by on my travels through Louisville and enjoyed a delicious lunch at Nolafare. I had the Soul Stack with cole slaw and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is clean colorful and simply good. Highly recommend stopping by.

Hot new spot serving raw food! - Edit
Nolafare is a welcome addition to the Louisville veg restaurant scene. It offers vegetarian and vegan treats alike, with many designated as raw dishes and oil free.
The Cornucopia Salad is especially delicious and worth trying when you visit! And if you're not totally raw, try the OmMeal cookie .... Yum!
