Great big vegan breakfast! - Edit
One of the quirky Lounges chain in Newton Abbot.
Read moreVegan and vegetarian options are clearly marked on their extensive menu, but that also have a dedicated vegan menu on request with loads of choice.

Lots of choice - Edit
A lot of vegan options to choose from. There is a separate vegan menu you can ask for, or if scanning the table's menu QR code, there is a whole vegan section. Good mixture of the usual options (vegan breakfast, burger etc) but also some others. I had the Mexican superbowl and an oat milk latte. Can't fault either. Reasonable prices as well.

One of the best vegan menus in Devon! - Edit
I could kick myself for not doing the millennial thing and taking pictures of my food every time I've eaten here. I hope vegans try the food here and support it more by showing the effort they go to to provide good quality food. You ought to try it to see what I mean about how much choice there is, rather than me listing every dish they serve. This place has been my go-to place for vegan food for as long as I've been in the Teignbridge area, which I think lacks good places to get wholesome vegan food. It's easy to offer a vegan option like a burger or a pizza, but they go above and beyond. Their menu is more extensive than a lot of fully vegan places, with a good understanding of plant-based flavours and textures. They're very clued up about allergies too and they provide a large separate menu with vegan options on one side and gluten free on the other, many of which crossover.
Read moreMy absolute favourite dish is the marinated miso aubergine with rice, but they serve a wide spectrum of vegan food from healthy dishes to junk food. At other places, usually it's one or the other. They also serve vegan milkshakes if you ask (the strawberry coconut milkshake is to die for) and they even say on the menu which alcohol is vegan. A lot of places overlook alcohol. As someone with coeliac disease, my dining experiences can be very limited even at fully vegan establishments, but this place has always looked after me and I've felt spoiled for choice. I've never felt unwell after eating here, even after having a cocktail (or many), a main course and a dessert to die for (chocolate torte with raspberry dust). I like the portions too, but I would happily eat more for what I spend and that's because I really enjoy the food. Yes, it belongs to a chain of lounges, but I can't speak for any others across the country. This one just has a good energy. The staff are friendly, respectful and smartly dressed, to match a super cool ambience and decor which is also so chilled out and interesting. I always find myself looking at the lights, the lampshades, and the paintings and relaxing to the music. I think the tables are nicely spaced out too. To top it all off it's dog-friendly and they always have free treats for dogs available.
