Showcases work from local artists and musicians. Directions: walk from Av. Ejercito through Calle Tronchadero to Oscar Raul Benavides, turn right, and look for the yellow house at the second block. Also has classic cocktails in vegan form. Open Mon-Thu 1:00pm-10:00pm, Fri-Sat 1:00pm-11:00pm, Sun 12:30pm-8:00pm.

Delicious food with a unique magic vibe - Edit
First of all I want to emphasize the special atmosphere at this place. We went there in the evening. Everything was beautifully decorated with lights, plants and wood. We felt comfy there immediately.
Read moreThe food was delicious and the plates were big enough. For me personally the Parillada's saitan "meat" was too soft. Would've preferred for it to be grilled longer. My friend (former meat lover) absolutely loved the vegan meats. We both agreed that we definitely had the best tasty "meat" plates here we've had on our trip through Peru.

Esta fue el primer local de Lounge del Brujo y es mi favorito. Tiene diferentes ambientes muy bonitos, la comida es espectacular en sabor y presentación. Para mí de lejos lo más rico en la ciudad, vengo a cada rato y traigo a todo el que puedo. Si tienes tiempo te recomiendo venir a este local también queda cerca a la plaza de Yanahuara

Great bar, fantastic food and ambiance. The food honestly blew us away, the meat melted in my mouth. The accompanying sauces were excellent and so fun to dip our food in. I got a vegan pisco sour and it was heavenly how creamy it was, with no taste of aquafaba.

The place was really beautiful - they have a library themed room, a second room, and a covered outdoor seating area with lots of fairy light strings that made it quite magical.
Just note that any of their mock meat dishes are really similar so I wouldn’t get an appetizer and entree that are both a mock meat. Huge portions - we had 2 entrees 1 appetizer for 2 and took almost half of everything home in a box.
Only downside is a bunch of their menu items were unavailable when we went. It was pretty empty when I went, so I think not enough people frequent this restaurant, so they don’t keep enough ingredients stocked😒
If you’re in Arequipa you have to make the trip!

Fantastic portions and flavours - Edit
Started with the Alitas Charapas, which are soy-based. Seems like there was probably a mixture with seitan as well based on the texture. Anyway! Very very good. Great flavour, big chunks of vegan meat. Had with the sweet potato fries, which were lightly salted and good.
Read moreFor the main meal, had Salchipapas Broaster—as recommended by our server. This was an exceptional recommendation! They were incredibly tasty. They were fried pieces of seitan that were so succulent and juicy with each bite. Came on top of a huge basket of fries and some of the vegan sausage strips, which were like little pieces of bacon! Also very good.
For dessert we had the Torta de Zanahoria del Brujo (carrot cake). It was so soft and tasty with the cashew cream.
Also had two Pisco sours, which were yummy and lighter than the one we had at Chia in Cuzco.
Honestly, everything we had was great, and so was the ambiance. Cute decorations and nice and friendly servers.

El lugar lindo y su carta es demasiado rica. Sus carnes vegetales son muy buenas, especialmente en la parrillada y anticuchos. Una de las cosas más ricas que tienen son sus hamburguesas en varias presentaciones. Otro punto a destacar es su carta de bebidas, tienen cócteles de autor peculiares y ricos. Buen ambiente para una cena romántica o una cita.

The mousse au chocolat and the carrot cakes were very good. There was a promotion on desserts (2nd one for 50%).

There is a special menu for lunch for 25.9 soles as well which is pretty expensive for Peru.
The restaurant is a bit far from the center but close to the Mirador.

Outstanding Vegan restaurant in Arequipa, Peru - Edit
Amazing find! This is a brilliant vegan restaurant, very close to the centre of the beautiful city of Arequipa, Peru. The meal sizes are excellent, and the quality of food was outstanding. The cocktails from the bar were the best we’ve had in Peru over the last month! The ambience was fantastic and super chill. The final point we’d make is about the service - sensational!! Extremely friendly and helpful, especially when our Spanish was so limited. We couldn’t fault anything. This place is an OUTSTANDING VEGAN RESTAURANT.

Peruvian traditions and nice decorations - Edit
When we arrived at the restaurant they offered us to sit in different rooms which were decorated in different styles such as the library or the herbal garden. They offer a lot of typical Peruvian food (also Peruvian fast food which I have not seen before like the salchipapas). I can also recommend the Lomo saltado made from seitan or the typical arequipeño Rocoto Relleno (spicy). We also loved that they offer Piqueos (plates you share with everybody) because the vegan Wantans which are also traditional for this region were really good white the original taste of meat. But if you just want fast food they offer also pizzas and burgers so there is something for everybody😄

Si vienen a Perú tienen que pasarse a Arequipa para probar la comida de aquí! Mi esposo y yo hemos viajado por todo el Perú y probado la comida vegana en casi todos los restaurantes de Lima, y sin exagerar (y no tenemos conflictos de intereses) es el mejor de todos! Prueben las vegacostillitas, el tallarin a la huancaina, el chaufa saltado y hasta su menú es demasiado bueno para ser verdad

We took a delivery for lunch today and it was very very tasty. I would say best taste of Peruvian food in vegan version, so if you live or come to Arequipa and you are vegan you have to try it! I will recommend el anticucho, rocoto relleno , vega salchipapa completa , arroz chaufa and tallarín saltado , all of them highly recommended!

This place just open one month ago and I think is the best Vegan restaurant in Arequipa. Have a lot of options included traditional peruvian food in vegan version. Also amazing burgers and cocktails.
