Vegan-friendly
Chinese

Unique all-you-can-eat experience mostly run by volunteers; associated with a sanctuary. Each dish has a poetic description in both English and Chinese. The staff is friendly but mostly speaks Chinese only. Hot pot, rice cakes, baozi buns, elegant little collections of vegetables and tofu, vegan fish. Address: 普陀区枣阳路861号. (Possibly 100% vegan. Please verify & send HappyCow an update.)

Come hungry!!!

Oh my gosh - come hungry - once the food starts coming they just keep bringing you more dishes! Cost is 198 for unlimited food. Everything is beautiful, flavors are pretty subtle for my taste but there is a sauce/seasoning bar so you can spice it up.

Cute and unique experience

The food was plentiful and excellent. It's partially buffet style but they also bring you dishes. It was more food than we imagined and each dish was beautifully presented as well as delicious. Kids are half price and there is plenty for them to enjoy as well (though they ask that I point out that the sushi has wasabi in it!)

Pros: Tons of options, Pineapple baozi, Great presentation
