Better than expected! - Edit
As you can see from the pictures that this cafe lacks the ambiance of most restos desired by foreigners. Yet what it lacks in atmosphere, it makes up in taste.
At the time of this posting the sign has blown down, but Lotus Veggie is still open 7 days a week.
Pros: Taste of food, Price, Friendliness of the waitress
Cons: Ambiance, Freshness may vary if you go late in the day

Highly recommended! - Edit
Very tasty local food. Fill a plate for 30 or 35k. Large variety, around 10+ dishes without (obvious) eggs. Some are quite spicy!
Pros: some english spoken
Cons: no vegan labels

Very nice surprise - Edit
From the outside it looks quite tacky a little lacking in ambience to be honest. But all of this was made up for by the amazing food. This buffet place serves up a wide selection (about 10 - 12 different plates) that you can just help yourself to all you can eat. The staff don't know much English, but since it's buffet we didn't really any problem and they were very friendly and accommodating. The food is very well prepared, nice balance of spices and not too much overpowering in specific sweet, spicy or salty flavours. The food definitely feels like it's prepared in a home-cooked way.
Have tasted some nice food in Bali, but if you want authentic vegetarian food that fills you and also doesn't feel heavy at all, I have to say this is the best place for it that I've tried. The price we paid was also ridiculously cheap for the quality and quantity of food. Not sure why it's not more well known..
Pros: Food, Service, Price
Cons: Lacking in ambience

simple but tasty - Edit
Place for local vegetarian and it's cute! Plain rice with 10 or more different vegeterian additions. Some of them quit spicy but all together is good! Definitely recommend to visit vegeterian food by Balinese style!

Tasty cheap food - Edit
Food is good and cheap. Place clean. Of course, it is not a fancy place and staff do not even speak English, however it's a good option for lunch

authentic Balinese food - Edit
We found this place by chance on our way to Kuta and stopped by to give it a chance since it is brand new. We were not disappointed! You'll find around 10 veg options at the buffet. 8 vegan 2 ovo. The selection changes daily.
It's all typical Balinese food "veganized" except the egg dishes. (Veggies, soy protein, seitan, tempeh) Some of them are wonderful spicy, for some tastes maybe a bit too spicy ;).
There was no paper menu available, but the owner will point out what else is available on top of the buffet.
You get a plate full of goodness for INR 20k, soft drinks 10k; Recommended!!
For the curry lovers: sometimes fresh curry with rice noodles and protein is served as well for 20k. It's heavenly! The curry reminded me on the Malaysian laksa, but without the fishbroth. I am pretty sure it's a vegan option, but ask, just to be "safe" :) Enjoy!
Pros: taste, buffet choices, value for money
Cons: it's in Kuta... (traffic)
