My go-to vegan spot!

I regularly go to this restaurant, it has great food and lots of options. There's an extensive menu, mostly vegan with a few dairy options. I definitely recommend it!

Pros: Great food, Lots of options, Quick service and nice, cozy atmosphere

Delicious

I did the buffet, which was great because there were tons of options. There were many tofu and mock meat dishes. I liked the sushi, BBQ buns, seaweed dumplings, and cold tofu. But I was disappointed that there were no vegan desserts.

Great Place!

This is one of the best vegan places I've eaten at! The options are endless and the taste is amazing!!! Not to mention the prices and speed are fantastic!

Pros: Price, Speed, Options/Taste

Cons: None

Perfectly Adaquate

Went there for lunch. The food was serviceable Chinese food with meat substitutes. If you are looking for a middle of the road Chinese restaurant with no meat on the menu, this is your only option nearby. The decor is not very appealing, and the place doesn't look very clean. Would be fine for takeout or delivery.

There may have been better options on the menu, read the other reviews for recommendations.

Pros: 100% Vegetarian, and lots of pure Vegan options, Edible

Cons: Average taste and quality, Looks dirty inside

Great Variety & Taste!

This is a new gem to add to our rotating list of vegan friendly restaurants in our general area. Food was tasty and we really like the variety -- we got the Asian noodles and fried mushroom as well as the Tofu Burger and Soy Chikn Nuggets and "drumsticks."

Salad was fresh and the fried items we ordered did not at all feel heavy. Flavor was great.

I'm generally weary of the "fake vegetarian meat" restaurant but this one stands out in that it wasn't just trying to replicate the meat counterpart but rather it creates dishes that stand on their own.

Will be back for sure!

Love the dumplings

When we first visited here we loved the wholewheat dumplings and almost always got them.

Everything else was great and we enjoyed.
The only problems we had were that the ginger tea was served in styrofoam cups instead of glass or porcelain.
Anytime we got there late we felt pressured to leave even though it wasn't closing time. Make sure not to stay after 8:30 pm if you can.

Pros: Quick preparation, Delicious food

Cons: Rush to leave

Very delicious but watch out for nut allergies

They have very reasonable prices and their food tastes amazing. One thing I didn’t like was the fact that there was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant so it took forever to get water refills and to get the check. I also wish their menu was more specific as to which items have nuts in them, because when I ordered the lotus burger I specifically asked the waiter if it contained nuts and he said “no, there are no nuts in the burger.” I don’t really believe this, however, because when I got my burger it came with a side salad with dressing on the side, which definitely contained nuts. Luckily I had the person I was with taste test the dressing first, where they confirmed that there was definitely nuts (probably peanut butter) in the dressing. Please pay attention if you have a nut allergy— you will have to be pretty careful here. Overall I would recommend this place, just watch out for nut allergies.

Pros: Reasonable prices, good food, Menu shows which items contain dairy

Cons: Only one waiter, Menu doesn’t show which items have nuts in them

I try to eat here at least once a week. Everything is good once you know ro order it cooked the way you like. The orange eggplant its heavenly. I wish they had a portabella burger though. The wait staff is great. Kudos Andy! My favorite waiter!

Pros: Great food

Cons: Wait staff can sometimes appear unfriendly.

Friendly and tasty

Lotus Vegetarian is a good option for a meal or snack on the way to/from Dulles. The menu is extensive enough that most people should find something appealing. Almost everything is reportedly vegan, except for a few items, which they can point out to you.

Found While Traveling

Attending a family function in the DC area staying in Chantilly, VA we were looking for place to get something to eat. This was our first trip since changing our lifestyle. We found Lotus Vegetarian near where we were staying and tried it out. An excellent meal. A Family Atmosphere. Very generous servings - brought leftovers back to our room for two more meals.

Pros: Easy to find, Family friendly, Generous servigs

Great selection, good service, and tasty

Went for lunch today. Many choices on the menu! We had all three sushi selections plus the lettuce wraps and faux prawns. Food came out in a reasonable time. All of it was fresh and tasty. They don't put chopsticks on the tables so we had to ask for them - not a big deal. Coffee was served in a styrofoam cup which the waitress only reluctantly refilled so that's a negative for me. We will definitely return. But will order tea.

Pros: selection, taste, value

Cons: styrofoam usage

Great quick vegan meals!

I live nearby, and this is one of my go to places to get take out. Most of the menu is some blend of Chinese/Thai, but they have a bunch of other sandwiches/burgers, salads, etc. Only a few things on their menu aren't vegan, and anything that isn't vegan states so explicitly. Most of their menu can also be made gluten free upon request. Their turn around after placing an order is really fast. Always within 15 minutes and mostly within 10 in my experience. However, table service can be inconsistent.

Some of my favorites are the crispy orange eggplant, lotus organic tofu, and kung pao asparagus. The only thing about some of their dishes that strikes me as sub-optimal is that a lot of their dishes involving fried tofu have too much breading.

Pros: Good food, Cheap, Fast

Cons: Inconsistent table service

Fantastic!

Almost everything on the menu is vegan. There are a few smoothies that have dairy as well as wontons on the appetizer list. My favorite dishes include General Tso's, sauteed udon noodles, summer rolls, pan-fried dumplings, miso soup, watercress wonton soup. the avocado sushi roll, orange veg chicken burger, and the vege-chicken with cashews. You will not be disappointed.

Pros: Yummy food every time , Affordable, Portions: good bang for your buck
