not a good experience - Edit
I went there expecting a vegan friendly restaurant but ended up with hospital tasting food, without any reasoning, I had to ask for sambal myself.
But the staff was friendly, as a lot of balinese staff is.
Wouldn't go there again! And wold not recommend it either.
Pros: staff
Cons: location, food

Personal vegan service - Edit
We had two breakfasts and two dinners here. We asked for vegan breakfasts on the booking request form for the hotel. At our first breakfast the head chef (Executive Chef) sat down with us and discussed our preferences, mentioning a whole host of dishes he could cook for us including traditional Balinese banana dishes, crispy tempeh, stuffed tofu, GadoGado (steamed vegies with a peanut chilli sauce), curries, soups. We requested the crispy tempeh (thinly cut tempeh in a rice batter, no egg, deep fried). It was delicious. The ambiance is lovelly in the Bainese style of high bamboo roof with ceiling fans and no walls, surrounded by lush vegetation.
There are also vegan options on the standard menu and breakfast buffet so we were able to eat very well.
Highly recommended if only for the individual attention and effort taken to meet our needs.
Pros: Indivual vegan service, Traditional Balinese dishes included, Vegan choises on the menu for drop-ins.
Cons: No separate vega/vegetarian menu, Also serves meat, There is a serperate smoking section
