Soo good! Best Lotus & vegan options are great! - Edit

The menu marks all vegan options. This is my favorite Lotus! They are very accommodating & even made saag tofu that was off menu & made me chai with coconut milk 💖💖

One of my go to spots for a vegan meal in Novato. This is another location of the downtown San Rafael Lotus restaurant. They’ve got several clearly labeled vegan options in the menu, including a vegan and gluten-free naan. My friends and I shared the chana masala and the bindi masala and both were just lovely! There are also several lacto-veg options with paneer which they enjoyed - I did not partake. Really friendly staff. We ordered for takeout. They have some outdoor seating and gave us disposable plates and utensils so we could use it.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Friendly staff

Cons: Not fully vegan or vegetarian

They opened a couple months ago. Inside is very nice and clean. We tried a few dishes. The veg coconut curry, it’s was ok, a little bland tho. The aloo gobi with added carrots was our fav. The veg samosas were really good. The aloo and curry dishes were on the small side. Should have ordered rice but we weren’t too hungry.
