They had multiple vegetarian and vegan options for pasta and pizza, and it wasn't too pricy either. I went here with an almost local who knew to recommend the place and I really enjoyed my dish and drink. I took a pasta, but they seem to be famous for their giant pizzas.
Read moreA thunderstorm came when we were eating outside so we had to move inside for a little bit before leaving. I preferred the outside seating - the inside was crowded and noisy, probably because of the rain but still.
The service was just okay, I understand it was a busy hour and the rain complicated things. Still it felt a bit weird.
Pros: Great quality-price ratio, Tasty food, Many vegetarian options
Cons: It's noisy inside, Sometimes service personnel didn't see us

Ich war bei der Osteria am Hauptbahnhof und habe den veganen Quinoa-Avokado-Salat gegessen. Dieser bestand fast komplett nur aus Blattsalat und der Quinoa war eher Dekoration. Ich hatte auf mehr Getreide gehofft und war daher enttäuscht. Satt wird man so nicht. Leider roch es im Lokal außerdem nicht sehr appetitlich.

Huge pizza, nice atmosphere - Edit
Although it's a big place, it feels pretty comfy and hot a serene atmosphere. The waiters are amazingly friendly and the place offers a few vegan pastas. Vegetarian pizzas can be made vegan by ordering them with plant based cheese and are HUGE. Only dare to order one alone if you didn't eat for 3 days 😉

The pizza has a thin dough and tastes really good. For my taste, they could have put a bit less cheese and a bit more veg, but that's probably a matter of individual taste. It's nice that a pizza can be ordered "half half" if you want to try different toppings.
Prices are also OK, especially for the place being in downtown.
The place seems to be always kinda full, so better do an (online) reservation if you're planning to dine in.

This is a solid choice with a few vegan pastas. I could not see any vegan pizza options but previous reviews say they do have vegan cheese so maybe it is available on request. It is clear on the menu which items are vegan. Pizzas are massive - I had the starter one, it was nice. My veg pasta was nothing special though - felt very average. It was fine though. Didn’t see any desserts except sorbet.

This restaurant is part of the L’Osteria chain, which offers many vegan options and also gives you the possibility to order pizza with vegan cheese.
Read moreThe quality is consistent across most locations, which is why L’Osteria is always a reliable choice for me when traveling.
This particular location in Vienna has a top-notch setting and also offers outdoor seating, available during the summer and in good weather.
My companion and I found the food to be tasty and we would gladly come back.

The restaurant is in an excellent location, which could of course be a plus point for many. We ordered a vegan pizza and vegan pasta, which were served quickly. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and competent. The food was ready quickly and tasted very good. The many vegan options are particularly good. It would be nice if there was also a vegan dessert. So far, we have not been disappointed by this chain, and this location also impressed us in terms of both taste and service

Delicious period! Insalata Quinoa Avocado, Maccheroncini Colorati. They minimized oil as requested. Wonderful service and their in house balsamic vinegar is the best we’ve ever tasted.

what's positive
Read more- they have open late so we could come here at 10pm
- we went there spontaneously as a mixed group of 30 and they still had enough space for us
- there are clearly labelled vegan dishes and somw can be veganized (e. g. most vegetarian pizza by using vegan cheese)
- very large portions which are cheap
- tap water is free (ask)
what's not so positive
- okay, it was 10pm but i think it's not too much to expect a restaurant to still have vegan cheese at this time. i mean, they also had normal cheese left.
- they also didn't have all the ingredients for bruscetta (i mean, come on). therefore, the vegans couldn't eat something except for salad or pasta with tomato sauce.
